I had quite a large collection of them. The green? one here has a 12 volt automotive LED (1157 style) black light in it. I cleaned out an old lava lamp bottle, filled with distilled water and hung 2-3 yellow highlighter pen guts for a few days. No heat or movement but it sure glows. With regular Lava lamps - always use a dimmer. Once you see where they are 'happy' they won't overheat and you can leave them on 24/7.

This pic brought back so many memories. I'll get to the joke part soon. Richie (grandson) and Houdini are doing well. Richie 'got' AML (acute myeloid leukemia) for his first birthday. A full year in Hospital. Anyways, on the day of this 14 year old pic Richie and I were out playing in the snow, I said I have to pee. He said 'My to Papa'. So he was having a hard time finding himself through all of the snow clothing and finally said 'Oh here it is'. As we were both peeing he said, you have a big Winky. I said when you grow up you will have a big winky like your Dad. He said, 'Mommy said Daddy has a little winky. Although he is still a great Dad they split up shortly after that.

Glad you enjoyed it. Good choice of toppings. I could never eat a 'whole' pizza, unless it was one those 'personal pan' 8 or 9 in ones. Also don't want to eat one in 'half the time'. Prefer HOT out the oven or, for leftovers, cold, out of the fridge, for breakfast. No pineapple-no chicken ever. Lucky for us there a million ways to love pizza.

Love them both but, like oil and water, they don't mix.

Broken, cracked or bruised, they all hurt like bas***d for 6-8 weeks. I've injured my chest ribs a few+ times but 3 summers ago I fell backwards, landed on a pointy rock and broke 2 ribs right under my shoulder blade. About a foot from the back of my scull. After the cursing, X rays and pain I thought I was lucky. Between this and a motorcycle lay down in 4 lanes of heavy traffic, which I walked away from and a bicycle accident that cost me a bunch of my innards. I sold or gave away anything I owned with 2 wheels. Three close calls with the 'big guy' in 1 short summer.

I bought a cheapie? "Launch 319" OBDII code reader simply to check my coolant temp. I guess the folks who build these expect this dummy to know how to use it. No instructions. My Civic has no temp gauge at all. Now I can't figure out how to set it up to read that one function. Hoping one you car guys can get me started.
