So tonight it's just The BOSS Stoney, Boney and me chillin at the house... Might watch a movie.... haven't decided yet.... On the way home from diner and the Home Depot we stopped at the shop. I picked up my 99 cent subwoofer project that I stated a few weeks back. I might even work on that some. Anyway got a fire going and were in for the evening. Our daughter got back from her Puerto Rico vacation yesterday and she's back at mom's. The BOSS checked in with all our kids to see what there up to this evening..... You know that what moms do. She was happy to hear there all staying in. MKP :-)

lol lol ...... yea, I gotta figure out how to do it..... I've been using my scan tool/ tablet to post the pics and I know there not the best.... OMG... you have no clue I have been using a old flip phone for years.... My kids make fun of me.... The BOSS has always had the "High Tech" phone for the shop and since we are together almost 24/7 I really don't need a fancy phone. My old phone started messing up a little over a year ago, the "c"&"v" started not working so it was getting harder to text. The BOSS got me a used touch screen phone. About a week into this new/used phone it started having problems so I demanded my old flipper back... that was just about a year ago. Well, last week I couldn't text on my old flipper and I whispered "I need a new phone" The BOSS made me say it again. Last week the new phone came in and she got it all set-up for me. So far it's going good, I just gotta get used to it. MKP :-)

Good New Years eve all. The BOSS and I just finished dinner. We ate at Olive Garden tonight. Had a gift card. This is my first post on my new phone. Never done this before. Gotta go to Home Depot and get a new hot water heater. Check back later... MKP :-)

Hey jcasemusic Don't know what kinda luck you'll have here selling your Polks, but GLWS.... You might want to think about listing them over at thecarversite. A lot of the Carver guys really like the Polks. I hang over with the Carver guys a little bit, there a good bunch.... but I spend most of my time here with these crazy Klipsch people I have pair of the old Polk SDA 2.3's... there a very nice sounding speaker, yea I power them with a Carver Happy Birthday & New Year... That's crazy James... I don't think I could walk there... Many years ago when I was in the Army I was stationed in El Paso TX. I was a crewchief on a Med-E-Vac helicopter, it was a old Huey. We would go out on missions or just flying around.... anytime they needed a chief I would go. We would sometimes fly with the doors open it was great. There was a vest that I would wear called a monkey vest.. the vest had a strap on the back of it that you could secure to one of the rings on the floor of the helicopter. We also used them while doing hoist missions. I would strap on that vest and have my feet on the skids of the helicopter while flying...or just sitting on the edge of the floor of the aircraft..... man it was a blast... some of the pilots wouldn't let us do it, but the old Vietnam vet pilots didn't care... I felt secure with that vest on... Now, one weekend a bunch of us went out rock climbing. We all started climbing these rocks, well I got about 1/4 way up and I couldn't do any more. I had to climb down.... I could not do it, and we were all drinking beer. I had to meet the guys around the other side of the rock formation. So I could hang out of a helicopter with this strap holding me with all my weight on it 1000+ ft ..... but I was unable to climb up some rocks a few 100 ft..... Even today I don't like climbing.... I'll get on my roof to blow leaves off but I don't like it For real..... MKP :-)

Hey Wolfbane you ever try the GM Syncromesh trans fluid in your S2000? Last year a guy brought in his Acura TL typeS with the six speed manual trans in the shop. He tells me it grinds going into 3rd & 4th. He wanted his transmission fluid changed and told me he wants the GM fluid in it. I was unsure at first if I wanted to do it. But he told me all the guys on the TL forum recommend it. I also called my parts bud at my Honda dealer and asked him if he ever heard of using this fluid. He told me yea and he uses it in his S2000. He said it made his S2000 shift better. After I changed the fluid in the TL I took it out for a test drive.... I couldn't believe it, it almost had no grinding going into 3rd & 4th and it shifted smoother.. There's a tech bulletin on these transmission for the grinding.... but the fluid swap fixed it about 90%. I remember way back in the day we would get Honda's in the dealership were someone changed the trans fluid in there manual trans and put gear oil (80/90) in it. Back then Honda was using just 5w30 or 10w30 in the transmissions. The gear oil would work for awhile but it would take out 5th gear and bearing. It was classic... the customers would say..... "the car has no 5th gear and it has this loud whine, I just changed the trans fluid a few months ago" MKP :-)

Morning all, @deebalch welcome to the forum and the and CC&C... Oh yea were real coffee snobs and audiofiles here... Coffee is one of the main subjects but it can range from bathroom remodels to auto repair to food and just about anything in between....lol lol It's Friday and I'm wrapping this week and year up. I got a bunch of bills for the used car guys, so I'm going to hit em hard for the end of the year The BOSS left for moms already..... It hasn't been too bad at the shop by myself, she has come in for a few hours and helped me out doing the billing. I can do the invoices but it takes me forever to do. I should learn the program better, I can get by but so much easier her doing it. My daughter and her boy friend (we sent him with her) get back from Puerto Rico this weekend so she'll be back looking after mom next week. She's having a great time. She has really earned it... It would have cost the estate a fortune for what she's has/is doing.... yea there's some coin in the estate but it's not all that.. if mom were to go into full time care center it would gone quick!! You guys know what I'm saying.... OK time to roll... got a gravy timing belt job on a Toyota Camry waiting for me... A good day to all... MKP :-)
