    X10i + iphone 6

Yes, they are definitely compatible. To get the official iPhone 6 stamp of approval we have to get them re-certified. We'll be doing that this year.
  2. Yes, all our eartips fit every model of in-ear we've ever made.
  3. These guys make incredible planar magnetic headphones, not to mention building them in the US. I'm sure they would appreciate any help. I know I'll be digging through eBay and Craigslist ads.
  4. We're actually working on updating them and bringing a new set to the market soon with notable acoustic improvements and better price.
  5. I confirm these are in fact legitimate.
  6. Thank you and happy thanksgiving to you all as well.
  7. It all depends on the pin-out of the phone itself. Some are electrically wired to use the volume buttons and other's aren't. Unfortunately, if the phone didn't come with the ability to do it, you won't be able to custom-fit a cable to do it either.
  8. Press and hold the chevron for 1-3 seconds instead of a quick press. Glad you dig them! I have mine routed through optical out from my Xbox One. I use them every night, whether it's games or just watching the tube.
  9. Let us know how you like 'em. I've been using mine with my Xbox One and having the ability to mute my home theater setup and just play audio through the headphones has been paramount.
  10. Two things happened between the fit on Mode M40 and Status - less clamp force and softer ear cushion with more compression. You will get a better seal and more consistent bass. IF they're still tight then put them around a pillow overnight. If that still doesn't work, return them within 30 days (buy from our site).
  11. Honestly, why not give the Klipsch Status a try? We do free 30 day returns, so it shouldn't be a hassle. I've compared them to a lot of stuff, including Grado and Sennheiser, but always end up back at Klipsch. They're passive, use a 40mm driver which I've always been a huge fan of, and are nicely balanced. Part of that is the consistent front volume we have in that design. Bass comes off VERY punchy but never muddy. The highs are great because of the seal, so we can get a lot out of a 40mm just with the right ear cushions.
  12. No, your apartment situation is broken. Says the guy who just bought JAMO!
  13. It suggested RF-42s for my apartment. I have 82s, and they sound better. It is broken.
  14. Interesting. Maybe it has more room for a decent DAC? We will have to do some testing. Thank you.
  15. Thanks billybob. Regarding USB and optical, you only NEED USB. USB is enough for one audio channel. However, if you have optical, you can use two audio channels - one for game audio and one for a different app (e.g. ventrilo) for chat. Then you can mix the two channels right from the headset.
  16. Unfortunately a pair of in-ears is like a pair of socks. One day you take your foot out of your shoe and they have a hole in them. Please call us, the guys in support will be glad to help. I've had even the most expensive pairs fail. There's no magical method to building bullet proof strain reliefs or headphones that are impossible to plug with ear gunk. Of course we've significantly improved our standards over the years and our in-ears have one of the lowest defective rates in the industry, but I would be lying if I said I hadn't broken a set or two of X11i's.
  17. Also be sure to double check with your stock buds. Verify it's not the phone. Weird that the issue isn't consistent.
  18. Mode has ANC and Status doesn't. Status also has nicer clamp force and FAR better acoustics. ANC makes making stuff sound right very difficult.
  19. Our only concern when building a gaming headset with Li Pol batteries built in was what happens when they die on you at 2:00am and you're then obligated to turn on your 5.1 system. Having done that once or twice...my girlfriend was not pleased.
