  1. Lots of gear https://capecod.craigslist.org/ele/d/harwich-vintage-stereo-receivers/7415166729.html
  2. Also, we were told that the crossover may be available in the future as a stand alone purchase for khorns or something.
  3. Yes, they are very powerful. They are not fatiguing at moderately high volumes of the crossover is set properly. When we were listening, one of the salesmen was in the room with us and started to tweak the active crossover. After this, some of our testing songs were bright, I lowered the HF on the crossover and all was well again. I guess it might be tempting to tweak the knob settings depending on the artist/style/etc of the music you are listening to. If these were $10k less, I would have placed an order already.
  4. Last bump before I go more public places
  5. Not me, but I did spend an hour or two last Saturday listening to them again.
  6. You can get the passive radiator reconed by Midwest Speakers, Simply Speakers, or The Speaker Exchange.
  7. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk
  8. This is from a quartet speaker Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk
  9. I know this is a 1994 serial tag Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk
  10. I've seen those labels on other model speakers like KG4. I'm trying to figure out how to read them. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk
  11. So how do you get 1994 from the serial number 74078?
  12. Then what is the difference between P/N and S/N? My guess is S/N is serial number.
  13. Anyone? I wanted to list these here before going to Craigslist, etc

  15. Klipsch Chorus Speakers https://boston.craigslist.org/sob/ele/d/stoughton-klipsch-chorus-speakers/7411409698.html These belong to my buddy. Good guy with good equipment.
  16. I really don't think they are 1994. Those labels and serial numbers were used in the 80s and I haven't seen how to decide them yet.
  17. Fantasyland in Seekonk, MA. It was an arcade with kiddie rides and stuff.
  18. The price was $124.45 shipped for the Type AA cap kit, as of September, 2021
  19. The tweeters are both K77 with round magnets. The speakers are sequential serial numbers, not that that really matters on industrials. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk
  20. This was a fun project and I learned a ton, but I have no room for these anymore. It is time to sell. These are located in Massachusetts. I am asking $2,000. These LaScalas sound great! These were hanging in a family fun center for the last 20-40 years (I really don't know how long they were there). I have thoroughly cleaned these speakers, including removing the mid-range drivers and cleaning the horns with soap, water with a microfiber cloth. The dog house panels were removed, the woofer screws were tightened, the old gasket tape was removed and new closed cell gasket foam was installed, and then the panels were reinstalled. I have recapped the Type AA crossovers using JEM Performance Audio capacitors to the original specs. The old capacitors are in a labeled bag that matches the serial number of the speaker they came out of, as well as the crossover. The mid-range drivers are the K-55-V soldered lug terminals drivers.
  21. I wish. I have a couple of months to convince the wife Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk
