  1. Oh wait, I forgot. The whole "Hands up don't shoot" movement that is still broadcast on MSNBC as fact, even though it has been cleared by a grand jury and the cop that they say targeted and shot an unarmed teen has been cleared by the AG. Say what you want about a grand jury or AG but that is the justice system here in the US....faults and all. CNN and MSNBC may well be trying to compete against the likes of TMZ as they regularly report findings that totally disqualify the facts at hand. They have more fruitless shows than anywhere else on broadcast news. For the fact alone that Obama went on a nationally televised show and said there was not a "smidgen of curruption in the IRS" was bizarre upon itself. Jump two years later and there are endless trails of emails and paperwork leading to the higher ups in the agency cooking the books to suit their needs and political bias. Even opinion shows on Fox have more credibility than these networks and their job is able to provide bias.....they are not reporters. The job of a news agency or reporter in general should be to investigate the facts to draw a storyline. Not insert their bias to suit the liberal prez they all adore. If everyone simply did their job without bias we would see news stories we will probabaly never even hear of.
  2. Seriously, are you not embarrased to admit this? Fox employs Liberals and Conservatives to explain their views on the same show, at the same time. Google Bob Beckel and Juan Williams to see where they stand....yet they are on Fox every day to give their opinions. This is called discussion. Being a fan of the Lib scene, you are probably never shown the other side. Let's look at the whole MSNBC as a network. Chris Hayes....possibly retarded. Rachel Maddow only agrees with the libtards and follows the other sheeple on the network, and Chris Matthews still getting a thrill up his leg every time Obama speaks. Can't forget Al "not so rev" Sharpton. Possibly the biggest one sided racist in America. All run by Brian "I have done everything and lived to tell about it" Williams....where is he anyways....lol! Yep....you are right they tell the truth....wow....
  3. I giggled at just this sentence, nothing personal at all. Being Canadian here, Fox can't even get into the "news" category up here to broadcast. It's been categorized as "entertainment" with our regulation body the CRTC. I think when you have to go to court to get permission to embellish, that should reveal their intentions when "reporting". (The claimed distinction that Fox News is only allowed in Canada due to its being classified as an "entertainment" channel rather than as a "news" channel is a meaningless one, as those classifications only apply to Canadian media outlets, and Fox is an American company.) Should probably educate yourself further...
  4. Great sounding surround speakers. I have them running surround duty right now with my Sherbourn SR-120 right now. Nice deal too!
  5. The supposed shutdown is nothing more than a political ploy.....been there, seen that. Too bad mainstream news channel don't show both sides in the stories that affect so many people. Unfortunate... I do have to add however, that if I was working and someone offered me some weeks off with pay, albeit delayed that would have sounded pretty good.
  6. Awesome, glad everything went (mostly) smoothly and you are able to enjoy your new additions!
  7. Hey Youthman, did you ever call Damon at Emotiva?........just wondering what he said.
  8. If you can find a Sherbourn amp, aim for that. They make really powerful distortion free amps. Also look inot the Emotiva XPR-5 or XPA-5 depending on your budget. Both very solid amps and best bangs for the buck!
  9. Thanks guys. I may have to wait until the weekend but I will take the baks off to see what everything looks like. Even if it is just loose screws on the back I may change it out anyways. I appreciate all the help and I will let you know once I look everything over.
  10. Hi guys, I have first gen Heresys with the standard speaker wire screws in the rear of the cabinets. I am running the Monoprice 12 guage wire and the connection is not the greatest. What is all involved with swapping the posts out and running five way binding posts in their place. I believe they have the Type E crossovers in my Heresy's but I will have to double check on that. Seems their is a little short in the connection back there as sometimes the sound goes in and out and is okay once I wiggle the speaker wires....which is obviously not something I want to keep doing. Let alone at higher volume it would probably risk damaging the speakers. Any advice is helpful and appreciated! I was thinking something along the lines of these from partsexpress.com http://www.parts-express.com/dayton-audio-bpa-38g-hd-binding-post-pair-gold--091-1245 Thanks, Tim

  13. Absolutely worth the drive. If you pass on them let us know where they are......... as someone else would love them I am sure!
  14. http://www.usaudiomart.com/details/649174527-emotiva-xpa200-almost-new/ Here is an XPA-200 available on US audio mart!
  15. Also, since you were debating at buying preowned F-3's. Maybe take a look at some Heresy of Forte speakers. They offer 12 inch woofers and a three way design that allows the midrange horn to smooth out any harshness in the higher frequencies. I own two pair and I love them!
  16. I have listened with the F-3's in two channel and they sound pretty good. They are very efficient. Remember the quality of the amp you drive them with makes a significant difference. woot.com just had the F-3's brand new for $179 apiece. They still have some nice offers on the table. Maybe, check them out! .......Just so you know, Klipsch does not have and "e" on the end!
  17. You may want to look at an Emotiva Fusion 8100. Good power and doesn't takee up a lot of space. Pretty good reviews on this one as well. https://emotiva.com/products/receivers/fusion-8100
  18. Really nice shape Terri. I am sure lots of people could offer a good home for them. Once you come to a conclusion on pricing there might be takers in the forum. Good luck!
  19. Good luck with sale IbizaFlame. I just sold my mint RX-V2500 for $100 on the Emotiva forum. Great receivers but they sure don't seem to hold their value.
  20. OP, when you are referring to the KP262's being voiced for voice. Does this mean they will not sound as good for music now? Aslo, do you have any pics of them? Thanks!
  21. Yep, the Sherbourn amps are sweet too. They fly under the radar most times and sell fairly cheap.
  22. Nothing wrong with that philly. Haven't seen any for sale on Ebay or in the Emo forum for a while. They are great amps and usually go fast.
  23. https://emotiva.com/?mc_cid=9423f52837&mc_eid=a1c49ded9c Why buy used at this price? XPA-200 $499 or $429 E-Club for a two channel amp XPA-100 $399 or $339 E-Club for each mono amp
  24. There's an XPA-2 in the add "XPA-2 GEN1 with 4 years of warranty left $575" Sorry, I missed that in my glossed over quick read.
