  9. The issue isn't with Ohm speakers. Your web browsing is tracked via cookies/etc, and websites such as Facebook use that data to present ads which are relevant to your current browsing habits. Companies buy ad space within that advertising platform and so they get a saturated presence in your attention span. Install an ad blocker plugin for your browser and you won't see those ads in Facebook. Or clear your browsing history/cookies for an immediate quick fix. Either way, there's not nefarious at play it's just modern advertising tactics. Thats why I use https://duckduckgo.com Read This https://duckduckgo.com/privacy

  12. Not too long ago I had a friend over who had never heard or seen my system. This friend is highly familiar and experienced with modern technology but audio somehow did not fall within his reach. I had mentioned to him at one time that I used tube amplifiers in my sound system. When he was over, he saw somthing in my home and asked if it was a tube amplifier (it wasn't, I can't remember if it iwas even a piece of audio equipment or something else). I asked him if he wanted to see what a tube amplifier looked like and he said "Sure!" Well, as you can imagine, I also let him listen to my system which was definitely ennlightening to him. He was not aware of the sound quality that was possible and was simply amazed. He was more familiar with listening to music on his computer as background music. He commented to me that "with sound like this, you can just sit down and do nothing at all but listen to the music!" I say, "yeah, that's what I do!" I know it definitely left an impression on him. Heck, while I was using my best electronics, the speakers I was using at that time were amongst my lowest quality. If I had my Klipschorns set up, I think it would've really knocked his socks off. For high quality audio to not become a "declining industry," those with good sound systems need to share the experience with those out there that just don't realize what is possible (and has been for many decades). JMON, this is exactly what folks like us should be doing...I've always thought having folks over for a beer and a listening is a wonderful thing.

  21. Maybe you should try the William Russo "Three Pieces for Blues Band and Symphony Orchestra" by San Francisco Symphony Orchestra directed by Seiji Ozawa. May not help. I expect a wide range from my music. Midnight Oil "Beds are Burning" can pin me to the wall and make me boogie. But it can never cause the kind of total emotional catharsis such as that I experience under certain conditions from music that transcends all time and space. I recall sitting, just enjoying the space at St. Martin's Church in Houston some time back. I had noticed some folks sitting up behind the alter screen and heard them talking, but had no idea what they were doing. Without warning, the massive Schoenstein organ roared into life with Widor's "God Save Thy People" and the brass joined it. The tears poured and my body was utterly transfixed. There is now some 3500 years of music to be heard. I am making every effort to hear it all. Dave I too reach euphoria with certain knids of music. "Skin Orgasm". I love certain kinds of rock, I love certain kinds of blues music, I love a certain kinds of Female Voice "just an example "Nora Jones" I love certain kinds of Male Voice "just an example "Myles Kennedy" Euphoria If there is video of Nora Jones while singing would even be better, that girl has a spectacular voice and style, and her looks are sexy also. Oh yeah her voice is "I think" Saultry....Heres a video of her with Bille Joe Armstrong
  22. What are you using for mix????
