Jeez...the more I learn. Decisions, decisions. Now it's CF-4, (which version is best?) and almost impossible to find. KLF-30 also hard to find. And finally Cornwall. The Cornwall a tad easier. I don't want to pay going prices, but who does? Thanks to the members here, it helps me narrow the choices.....You sure know the lineup. It is as if ya'll , yes I'm from the south, know I like my rock and blues cranked! MC75's will make you want to do it!

Well, dang. I passed on a great deal then. KLF-30's with Crites upgrades. Because I read here on the forums, that the Cornwall II were the better choice. As far as bass extension and sheer power. Still think I am holding out for Heritage though.

Now he wants a grand. No dice for me. He can keep 'em. Changes his mind dialy. I will find an honest seller eventually in my area, that needs the money. That is the usual CL stuff. I have had more scammers on there trying to rip me off while selling. The "I will send the certified blah out, and my movers will pick up". Hope people really don't fall for that. Maybe, depends on the pair I may pick up today. If you look at the link I posted in Garage Sale, hogwylde09, the woofers look like they might have some discoloration or water marks? Hard to tell from his pictures. But I am going to drive 2 1/2 hrs. to check them out. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk

I just figured out how to post in Garage Sale, I was't subscribed DUH! Tapatalk a bit confusing but getting there. I may go look at this pair today. Questions, besides overall condition, they are hooked up for listening. I have gotten the bottom line price, $850.00. Besides 1 missing badge. I know I saw a few at the gathering, are they obtainable? If all drivers are good, is this a fair deal? They do have the removable backs. I think he said 1982 models. I will get the serials before purchase and just confirm by the timeline D/L. Thanks in advance, I know I can count on all of the great folks here on the Forum. hogwylde Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk

Only in Austin! Drove that far to get the Belles. And I do have a hankering for the 30's. A friend has a pair, very good in the bass department. Great rock and roll speaker. -
I really enjoyed the setup at Rodney's Place this year. And that was only 6 stacks. If I could change professions, and become a live sound tech, Klipsch would be my choice of sound reinforcement. PS, never did get to hear that Zep song on the MP3 device...LOL

Repair Question - Forte Passive Radiator Repair

But if the surround is failing, that is a different matter. Yes. Simply Speakers would be your best bet, if you want to keep them original. Or there are plenty of videos on YouTube on how to refoam yourself. Since you're not dealing with voice coils and the like, maybe a DIY job. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk -

I have used a small amount of toilet paper, just slightly larger than the tear. Put some clear fingernail polish down first. Cover around the hole, then lay the paper over. Let dry. Repeat the process as many times nesessary as to achieve the stiffness you desire. You can usually tap around the cone area, to see if it sounds good and uniform. Question on when the real laminate ply wood ceased on the Heritage lineup. Seems I would rather have this type of construction, my Belle's sound much better to me than higher density MDF Really interested in Cornwall or Chorus after speaking to jimjimbo at the gathering. Deeper bass. La Scala's too large for back wall. La Scala Cornwall Chorus Forte Maybe Heresy also.
