  1. I didn't give it that much thought other then to ask you guys. ☺
  2. AVR? No i have a Rotel Ra-1592 at the moment. I am however thinking about changing it out with a pair of bridged NC502 .
  3. I am thinking about bi amping a pair of Rf7-ll does anyone know how much power the tweeter can handle?
  4. I use Spotify, Tidal and Flac. Records on Sundays.
  5. Hey. I was just wondering when the new Heritage subs might hit the market. Does anyone know? And just as important, has anyone heard or seen these yet?
  6. Thanks.Hadn´t seen that one Glad to hear ou like them.
  7. Always happy to hear when people like Klipsch. 😉
  8. Hey. How do jo like them so far? I actually thought of these when i bought RF-7. Have they settled in nicely?
  9. That is beautiful. I envy people with such skill!
  10. I only heard them at a store. They sounded quite good though but hard to say what the low end will be like in a home inviroment. They look awesome too.
  11. Very nice! I want a pair in distressed oak with the white grilles so bad. Would look amazing powered by a white Hegel Röst!
  12. Well. As i said, i might be the wrong guy to ask. I certainly wouldn't recommend skimping on the amp. The Rp280f really are great speakers for the money i think. And they really shine when paired with good electronics.
  13. If you can afford it go with the Rp280f and a decent integrated like the Rotel Ra-1572, Nad C388 or maybe Yamaha A-S1100. You might be able to find a great deal on something like Nad C375 as it has been replaced by the C388. Most people will propably tell you that you don't need the power as they are very sensitive speakers. And many of those people propably know way better than me to be honest. 😉 But i like to have some more headroom, again i do tend to crank the volume a bit more then most people. Oh, and i actually own a pair of Rp280's, they are great and i actually like them a bit more then my Rf7 ll in some regards. I have had a few amps on mine. Starting with the Nad C375. (Great and cheap) Vincent SV 234 (powerful and quite good, but not as good as newer alternatives) Hegel H160 (very good but expensive) Rotel RA-1592 (the best amp i've ever owned) and currently a Rotel RA-1572. Not as good as the RA-1592 but the 1592 got an upgrade and are now running the Rf7's as they are hungrier for power. I hope that helps a bit.
  14. I don't know to be honest. I get it at the US prices. But at just about 2100£ (2xVidar and 1x Freya) i think there is better options out there. Like the Rotel RA-1592 or Hegel H160 for example. I know some people don't like integrated as much as i do. And they are less powerfull. But this is a Klipsch forum, not many Klipsch speakers need more than 150/200 watts ya know😛 I would like to hear a set though! The Freya does look very nice.
  15. This is truly awesome! I would really like to see some pics of the speakers once you have them set up in the museum. Will you be finishing them up again or just keep them as is?
  16. Thanks guys. I haven't had the time yet but i'm gonna go and pick it up one of these days. ☺
  17. Oh and he has a 2m Silver cartridge he's been trying to sell me too. Might just grab that one too. Although i don't know if it's even worth it. 😛
  18. Thanks for the response guys. Well it's not my first turntable. I have a Rega and a Thorens in other rooms. He only thought of me because i resently bought a pair of walnut Rf7 ll on sale to use in the man cave. I'm not entirely sure how many records i'll be playing in there to be honest. It's more of a hanging around drinking draft beer and playing darts or pool kinda place. 😛 But it could look cool although it has to sound decent to. He wont let me try it out though before buying because it's factory sealed. I know it's not a lot of money and all. But as i said, i'm not even sure i'll be using it that much and if the sound quality is bad then i really don't need it in my life. 😛
  19. But is it any good? I don't want to buy it just because it's cheap you know.
  20. I was just offered a Heritage Debut Carbon by a friend of mine. It's brand new in box and everything. He wants 200 bucks for it which sound pretty cheap as the Pro-ject Debut Carbon is about 600 dollars where i live. I am pretty sure the only difference is det walnut finish and the Klipsch cork mat and logo. I never owned anything Ortofon or Pro-ject so i dont know the 2m Red or the Debut Carbon. Is it worth the money?
  21. I know how ht works. Op clearly says that this is for music listening. That is why i am a bit puzzled😛
