    2020

Well it is a great Friday the 31st at 6pm est now @mr clean glad it's going good for you, I can and do get down sometimes (no wisenheimers now!) and just have to shake it off!
  7. Of course I did, it moves pretty slow when the blades aren't moving but it still lights up good They're calling for more flurries tonight has not quit raining all day afterwards, man we've got to be the new Seattle of the east.
  8. My ears popped earlier then the gray sky and 35 made me tell her it looked like snow outside. We had about 40 minutes of these big goose feather flakes. The saying goes "Big snow, little snow" and conversely yep even with twenties in the early am nothing will stick, but its fun to see in the lower latitudes. I can hear Charlie Daniels peaceful "Carolina" right now!
  9. Very good descriptive info for it, I'd agree after 3 of 4 sides listened to! Your name is on it, we'll make sure there aren't more to air mail to you when I get the remainder!!
  10. The GB is just.... Have you pulled it up on youtube and listened to it? Strange indeed
  11. That GB air force had me listening for something good it's kinda like chromatic scales with inaccurate off kilter drums mixed in. I think the end of side C is where I heard a song finally, a live one. Just not my cup of coffee. Cars was kinda nappy 80s sound but not the hair band type, think I'll let go of my two jovi bon records and Tesla (maybe not). Getting on towards cleaner lps now had to turn the machine off and put new stuff into it. Putting some mileage on from the records to the restorer in the next room to rinse off in the big kitchen sink, then dry and tape up the busted sleeves after zapping the static out of them and the covers. found no dirt or sand (FL decade) inside so that is good. They're still alphabetical but not chronological per artist like they were before. Gotta get this done before the three hundred pounds of vinyl gets here, he might surprise me and do that soon. America and the Flying Burrito Brothers are pretty mellow at least the couple I've listened to. Bread? OMG I had that lp long ago! Nay! Nay! I cannot survive on that, the Horse with No Name LP might can stay it's kinda CSNY harmony-like.
  12. ahh h*ll Nicaraguan here and leftover cornbread with taco meat, ripe j a p s and cheddar in it plus a few spoonfuls of frijoles/salsa. Using the oven is nice when it's chilly outside! It was 31 and I considered opening the window here an hour ago
  13. Good morning folks! It's easy to see that when the bulk of the collection gets to me it's going to be out of control here. I've managed to clean most of my records and some of the crate Mark brought to me the other week. My cabinet that I thought would be enough for me twenty years ago is full of restored LPs. Plus there is an entire Farmplast super crate full that doesn't fit since I added some and then reduced the tension in there. I'll have to come up with a new format for cataloging my records. It will involve crates on the dresser! I have several that before I take them to the used record store for credit I'm going to offer to y'all. What I know is that if the bulk gets here in the next month or so (I believe so, he's said they are in his way in the laundry room) there will be more but I could tag and then send out some time capsules. I'll adapt to the situation. @Full Range after this public service announcement gets to the followers of the vinyl thread I'll open a different thread for this stuff if there is interest. Argent all together now G Ginger Bakers Air Force double VG - VG+ I literally think they were tripping and I don't anymore so it's not for me. kinda jazzy the Band & the Band Live double G Bowie pin ups didn't clean Cars mopar cover VG *Take it to pm if you want in on this! more late 60s to 74 a through c to follow when I can go through them
  14. That "Mas Feedback" cd.. got no idea where I got it from. They cover "I Am the Walrus" righteously on it. Look like reggae or milli vanilli fellas but they're rockers.
  15. Alright so you've got more testo.... in ya today than me! Mine's got a six... well when it goes over 4K rpms the right bank of the V opens up and it's six. Otherwise it's like a vw with 3 cylinders. Cars are just too darn delicate now days, I baby them or is that back to the coreg zapping my... uhum energy. Keep that hot rod clean & keep rockin' HWY 74 does have some long flat straight stretches of road west of New Hanover Co. this song ain't for daises, careful now!
  16. Got some more possible keepers cleaned up: & found a gem This fella formed a band in the early 60s with Charlie Watts and Mick Jagger called Blues Inc. check out the backside, if you right click it will open up full sized at postimage . com They weren't politically correct back then I've heard through the record. cool stuff!
  17. You are right @Dave1290 Started pulling out some I already had to clean along with the "new" records. Did a stretch of twenty or more that were relatively clean before I had to change the solution yesterday. Put three with high mileage in with a new batch and now have to look for more similar to those and change this water sooner. Not cleaning the Analogue Productions close to perfection LPs, maybe later. Oh and I only got a milkcrate full that is a third as much as one of the five 32" crates. Below is what I've managed to clean plus a few half-speeds plus a few others exempt from that now. I'm gonna need a bigger house!
  18. Uh...NO. folgers started it all for me, I liked it bought those two pound red cans in the grocery store for seven dollars. Then something changed with the flavor that I didn't like after `93. ⭐bucks for years until they started that musty nasty tasting bean in everything. Marley coffee was the best until his remaining family ruined the business. Have no allegiance to a brand anymore, I'm a freelancer now.
  19. For the thing with Joey?? Think they did pack it in after Draw the Line... at least they did not hit bedrock with REO!
  20. Not bad for kids stuff. Think I've got enough of Duane and Greg to last a little while now. Only had a "King Biscuit Flour Hour" show I recorded on a 120 cassette for years. Think my brother's friend really liked them these aren't like that Boston lp! Got a few pops, but again not bad at all for the `69 & early 70s records. ** @Full Range hey caught up in that little ditty and things going on here last night, I missed something real big Congrats on becoming a Grandpa soon!!
  21. One monster of a bike, NOBODY gave me grief on Main Street in Daytona during Bike Week riding it .... they were aware. Miss it more than the x that got me to trade it for another Chevy. It looked like this one: And did surprisingly well with cornering!!
  22. Got 2 lbs of Lumbo coming with a $$ little bag of Blue Mtn for my manual maker later this week. Probably won't like Colombian anymore after a couple of days of real Jamaican Blue Mountain!
  23. Any of y'all ever ride a Yamaha Fazer in the 90s? That throttle was sensitive.... you hit a hole, your hand moves and you're doing a wheelie at 45 mph in a split second! Ended up getting the `84 V65-Magna, handled nice and toured well too. Wheelies... yea when you wanted them!
