  1. They're up for sale!! 6:00pm EST The buttons work now GPBusa go get `em! States that they ship late June.
  2. I wonder how @Chief bonehead is doing? Your newest addition to Klipsch history just about ready I assume? Since the "ahem" misunderstandings a couple of months ago here haven't read too much from him. Just to let you know I pre-ordered my "Sr Delgados" a couple of weeks ago. I know I'm not the only one that did. Thanks for the info you gave us here! Also have some wiring coming in and I'll run these +3 db better than my Heresy IIs like this: HF from speaker A out, LF from speaker B out. My new amp makes some sweet sounds already from my decades old Heritage set. Using the tone bypass it's sounding very similar to an old Nakamichi - Nelson Pass receiver that I had.
  3. Yep the southeast is awful sometimes with the humidity. Southwest seems to be on the way to hades right now! Around here it's worst in August through September. Any of y'all ever spent time in Columbia SC in August? That town in a geographical depression is regarded as the hottest place in the Carolina's by folks that have been around a while. The air just gets stagnant in a high pressure system in the summer. Thirty years ago in a new glass office building with no hvac hanging then finishing sheetrock from 7a to 7p was the most miserable thing I've ever done in my life. On stilts sanding ceilings and 13' walls all day in a 6 or 8 story enclosed glass oven. The dust reconstituted into mud with our sweat when sanding and we had to slough it off with our knives more than once an hour. Had to actually get a three inch back out when sanding `cause I'd get mud completely covering my arms, face and neck a quarter inch thick! Later we had to scrape all the blobs of mud off the concrete `cause it was slung everywhere. I was at my fighting weight, strong and about 20 at the time. You all know that when your in good shape you sweat less, stay cooler than if you're porky. That month with the 90 mile trip twice a day did it for me. I fired my boss soon after that, took a week off and went to work somewhere else with my knives at home in the storage room.
  4. Up Late? Or Early! @MetropolisLakeOutfitters in the F3 thread said about ten days ago he was expecting in July now. Somebody somewhere that I perceived worthy of believing mentioned that demand was higher than envisioned for these. I don't recall where I read that. You know I'm stoked about these too.
  5. Didn't miss a thing. OT: remember the Hagar Schon Arronson & Schrieve combination band? HSAS (probably spelled the names wrong) When you change the shape of the mouth, configuration of the tongue sounds come out DIFFERENTLY. mime BULLYA Two completely different sounds, taught to most of us before kindergarten. No need to thank me. God Knows. I'll forget about this now if I can.
  6. BULLYA! A pair of bucks in my back yard this morn at 6:30 was NOT 4 &ucks in my back yard. Leave it to a left coast professor to say that the letter b and the letter f are the same damn thing. They can't perceive the difference between right and wrong. Now I believe the unkempt folks in the tie-dyed shirts and the bell-bottoms near Tanners Hot-Dogs downtown around 1970. They weren't singing Sugar Magnolia. The end IS near!
  7. We just gotta deal with what we're dealt. I've always got a gallon of Luzianne and lemons in the fridge in the summer. Comes down to it, wouldn't trade what I'm used to for an unknown experience.
  8. C'mon Maaann aren't those AZ Junes a dry heat without all that damn pollen? We get 105+F with 60% humidity July - September here in the south. Aren't I tough taking half hour breaks inside when it's mid 90s with about 40%. Hope you've got shade!
  9. I might be one of those cable guys now derrickdj1. I'd rather think of myself as a low THD .000x subscriber. I read a report / sales pitch before I got my new speaker cables. Of course I did consider the source, and you have to get past the sales pitch to get to the meat of the matter. The whole idea is to not change the signal between the source and the next step.. the speakers or the preamp to the receiver. Found it here: http://www.audioquest.com/theory-education/ under "Do No Harm" This might add to the idea here that hearing is an acquired ability.
  10. I love that Silver Luster grill cloth. Sure it will catch the reflected colors and light of wherever you put it. I got sucked in by the CA BLK Walnut and the grills that match my chairs in the den / kitchen great room we've got. Now I've got to figure out how to move the sofa and recliners when the tv and the kitchen stuff aren't moving at all.
  11. Yep. At the first F3 thread @MetropolisLakeOutfitters put up some old prices he had on page 29. The Blk Cali Walnut isn't up at all! I knew the were kinda tall with even the bass lifted up off the ground, but these are 36" as high as a doorknob. They won't have a footprint much bigger than my Heresy IIs it's only about an inch bigger side to side.
  12. http://www.klipsch.com/search/results?q=Forte+III Came inside for some ac went to klipsch .com and look what I've found!!! **Lightning outside so back in again, tired of pruning those bushes anyway. Searched with quotes klipsch .com forte III and found more. They are setting it up to start sales. If y'all haven't seen it already.... http://www.klipsch.com/forte-iii
  13. Interesting topic, don't know that I've got the ability to discern the way that you can @moray james but I've always deemed cabling important. It's just like the rubber between your 16 valve V8 and the pavement, it matters. The laughable thin stuff that came with my first Panasonic record player, changing from 18 gauge to 14 to 12 twisted. At that time thinking that the resistivity would be lower with a larger path for some 4 ohm speakers I had. Removing the fuse from the path I can hear immediately. Replacing twisted monster from 1992 just last fall with something more 'high tech" found a sonic sweet spot here. Can't justify $15/ft for cabling but the $5/ft I spent / squandered (however YOU look at it ) on some good cables just changed my thinking on this totally! Cardas, Kimber Kable, Audioquest they've done their homework. The descriptive terminology they use sometimes makes me think of a card at the drug store. But I tried a low end variety of one of those brands and I'm not turning back.
  14. Not worried just having fun & it's a real word to this almost 54 yr old. I think Thaddeus Smith is alright, like his `tude!
  15. Yessiree Carl. Ron White gets me laughing so hard I can't stop. Of course Larry the cable guy was REALLY good when he was calling into the Ron & Ron radio show in the mid 90s when I live in Central FL. If you ever get to listen to his rambling "Bambulance" tale it is worth it. The trio of young deer we have here all the time in my "city" yard have made me think of that. NSFW or your kids. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ty6JPyr2XZ0 Ok this is not him, but Larry called in his ten minute version with R&R they played it over and over for about a year.
  16. That's gonna be good. But where's my favorite Tater??
  17. Could have been, he was messing with it when I got there. A number of things crossed my mind. Too much firepower on a rack inside a small closet, wiring...angry ex. Irregardless, pulling out a tape and visualizing the size of the LaScala II wasn't the same for me as standing next to one. Too big for me now.
  18. Yes, he gave me some time and help today. It's nice dealing with people like this.
  19. Love the MTB. When I was a kid, many times walking to church at about 9:50 am watched their bus drive home. Believe they lived around GSP SC, but their driver lived on Old Reid Rd in my town. Laviotte looks like his name will be on the Cup again. Nashville has a stifling defense.
  20. Thanks for the tip Scrappydue, going this route myself. Cory's one of the "good guys", no doubt.
  21. @0 degrees F a 1/2 oz in the eve and I'll sleep through a thunderstorm.
  22. It has begun! While searching came across this view from the back and maybe some walnut veneer at Klipsch-twitter. The passive radiator does look like it's on a finished product now.
  23. Scrappydue you'll be one of the first of us to enjoy `em. Congrats. I see bhp photo & video has pages up, is that where you're getting them from?
