I have a sub that will give that one a decent run for the money inside the house for sale as well 😂. It can shake your brain cells loose with quality bass is you so desire. Excellent combo. I would Def recommend a high quality sub with these 396s. You may not, who knows.

Trust me, if I wasn't just going to stuff them in a box and throw them in my garage for years, I wouldn't sell them. They absolutely destroy the heresy IIIs, Forte IIIs and Cornwall IIIs that I had. Not even close. Talk about value. If you are within say an hour or two drive from me, I'll even drive them to you if you so choose.

Ive had the speaker thing out of my system since the first pair of speakers I've ever owned. Problem is those damn shiny speaker cables. It's a sick addiction I must say....

I'm not against shipping. I have original materials. I HIGHLY suggest USHIP if shipping such an item. Safest and cheapest I have used this far. Otherwise, I have to palletize and R&L logistics would be the way to go I suppose

I didn't want to say that, but you may be onto something there.... Especially in the space I have. Those legacy have amazing bass and imaging. Much much different than any klips H I have heard. They also have realistic dynamic swings similar to klipsch. One of the better non horn speakers I have heard.

Stop it, I know 😂. I really liked the focuses when I had them. Completely different than the 396s of course. Once you hear them, youll understand I think...

Eh, I made up my mind and committed to what I wanted that will work better for me. I miss the legacy speakers as I had them before and have been lookign casually for the pair I bought since I sold the large ugly pair I had prior. But thanks

I know. Legacy audio Focus in rosewood (been looking for a pair in this finish). I'm having my first kid in November and the lowest level listening will come into play more often. The 396s just aren't the right system for me all considered coming up. Price was right on the legacy speakers and they are being hand delivered by seller to my door. Can't go wrong.

John, You know my thoughts on the Audioquest type 8 and type 4 cables. I won't argue endlessly that these cables are superior and everyone will hear a difference and love them (especially with cable naysayers). Try them yourself risk free from Audio Advisor and I have a feeling many will be quite surprised. I am using type 4 on 396s currently and haven't had an itch to change it. I wanted a bit thinner gauge cable to try to brighten up the top end a bit at lower volumes. Really wish I could biamp these speakers. These speakers IMO for home use truly cry out for biamping. Perhaps I will attempt to convert them to such some time down the line. Anyhow, back to the cables, give them a try. What do you have to lose?

Yeah, Correct. GSG built the sub and finished it for me. They told me that they will now be offering such service to the general public after a little birdie convinced them to do so 🙄. The sub fits my needs well and isn't ridiculous in size for my small living room. Doesn't dominate the size of my 396s either. For the money, it's a hell of a deal IMO.
