90% of the time I'm listening at night at around 85 dB tops... But I have learned some hard lessons over the past few weeks All good. What the hobby is about sometimes, so long as you don't take a big financial hit making critical errors hopefully.

Started with the heritage and really liked them. Glad I took advice from several on here and got these instead. These are much more my cup of tea.

Selll them and go Klipsch Professional. You can get 396s and subs for the same price as a pair of those LA scalas and you will NEVER blow a tweeter or woofer in this setup with proper amplification. Ask me how I know.

Ridiculous difference in output once the DAC was connected to the balanced inputs on the parasound pre. 1/4 volume on the preamp is very loud. Clearly the DAC didn't have enough voltage output to drive the wyred 4 Sound amp correctly. 18"s are certainly fun 😊.

I must say, the crown K2 in stereo is more than enough power for these subs. Sounds night and day better in stereo than in bridged mono. Subs sound awful in bridged mono (very muddy).

I know the answer to the question. I was just fueling fire. I get at least 3 or so spam calls almost every day. Voicemail, texts, emails and so on. Obnoxious would be a severe understatement.

I personally felt it was a good bargain for what it is. After having owned some of their gear years ago, I feel their sound quality and quality of builds is a nice bargain. THIS PRICE IS TERMPORARY! Be forewarned. I think until 12/9 if I remember right.
