  1. I emailed you yesterday. Have you sold the items yet? Thanks, Tony from SW Utah
  2. I purchased CD's nearly 2 weeks ago and nothing. Hmm
  3. Interesting how geographics play into used pricing. I've thought about packing up a pair or two of my speakers and driving them back east. Not seriously mind you.
  4. I recently bought a 2270 out of LA for 500.00 and I feel as if I stole it. It works fine despite the fact it needs a full rebuild at it's age. This is a scammer for certain!
  5. So what's actual going price for these?
  6. I would have jumped on them if closer.
  7. What (if any) Marantz receivers are available please? Vintage I hope!
  8. How about I'm putting my reply out there for others to consider?
  9. Also letting go of a pair of my Khorns as well. New crossovers and needless to say, they sound terrific!
  10. I have a great pair for sale and I'm in St. George.
  11. I've followed many discussions within different forums surrounding capacitor brands. Sonicaps seem to be the common preference although, following other forums from other non-Klipsch sites I see Jantzen, Claritycap, Audyn True Copper caps, etc. I already anticipate a variety of responses to this general question knowing this is relative to ones listening preferences ... or is it? I also wonder, does a particular brand of capacitor vary depending on speaker model? For example, would the Heresy have a particular brand preferred over the Khorns since Khorns are obviously much greater in sound reproduction? Awhile back I bought new Sonicap capacitors within the Klipsch Forum and rebuilt a set of AL-2's. I am now seeking the best replacements for a pair of AA crossovers. I am merely seeking the best sound reproduction from within the world of Capacitors. Cost is not my concern rather, QUALITY! Quote Edit
  12. Ooops, thought I did post within technical / modifications.

  14. I'd like to see the driver. Too bad it's only one picture.
  15. Actually, I do. I went and looked at them today and they are sweeeet! In fact a mighty fine example of one owner, well kept speakers. I've been waiting on this one. Just before I met the guy at his air conditioned storage facility he had them up on saw horses and was polishing them up when I arrived. I will post pictures sometime after hauling them home tomorrow.
  16. I now have my 402 replacements. Thanks to all for your input.
  17. I've been collecting the classic old Marantz's for years. The old boy that did all my restorations (for a great many years) recently died. I have a perfectly good working 2270 that I'd like to have gone through. Of course I realize this will need to be nicely packaged and mailed away. If anyone knows of a GOOD PROFESSIONAL RELIABLE Marantz specialist that they could refer me to, I'd be appreciative. Thanks
  18. Unfortunately, the Furutech GTX D has a standing reputation of not "gripping the plugs". Since your receptacles are used, would this happen to be the reason you are selling?
  19. I thought I'd try this again. Trying to locate a single 402 lens. Already have the KT-1133 driver waiting for it. Thanks! Tony
  20. Yes, that is definitely a logical approach you offer. I prefer staying with the Klipsch OEM as this particular pair of speakers I have already has one set of OEM brackets. I will supply the speaker without with duplicates. Thank you for your comment.

    Belles

And hey, they even have "consecutive serial numbers"!!! This way, they sound as close as possible to one another???
  22. I've heard many good things about this amp. Does anyone out there have or had this amp before? If so, what's the good or bad word? Thanks! Tony
