We are getting into kite flying season. Spring is sun-up to sundown wind. that will last thru May. Dust off a few. I was starting to get a nice collection of kites. "Sponsored" a KiteDay at the wife's school. There aren't that many kids in this school ... 25 kids in an average year.

I'm gonna change the subject .... Was digging thru my vinyl. There some gems in there. BlackSabbath, JeffBeck, ELP a few I need to revisit. See if they sound good now. Music, sometimes, doesn't age well. Triumvirat is still OK...

You should see the "corn" on Kauai. Puny. It doesn't like the short days. Longest daylight hours are 12.5 hours at the solstice. Pioneer and NK grow seed there The sugar cane looked more like corn than the corn.

We have a hospital 35min away. Used to need to run to Tucson. I live 12 miles from the Mexican border. We never lock up. Locks only keep your friends out, anyway. When I get my camera figured out, again, I'll start posting more pics. Most will be cropped to fit the sites limit... not generally a problem. I like to do macros. A lot of the things I see require enlargement. Some of the flowers are ~1/8 inch across

I'm an hour from downtown Tucson ... that's close enough. Used to live at the other end of the road, the jct at I-19. Got too close. My dad wanted me to move to Tucson. "You'll get shot out there", he said. "Maybe so. But, I will know by who and why". I like it out here.

I don't do well in an urban environment. Otherwise out lists would be the same. I practically lived at the beach/on the water, when I lived on Kauai

on a lighter note My family is from Elkhart. My mom's side. Grandma had 7 brothers. All in the Elkhart area. I wonder if the Klipch family intersected with mine... somewhere

To a certain extent, I am like dtel. Don't go to the Dr. Blissfully ignorant. Funny, or maybe not,. None of us, my sisters and I, go to the Dr. And we had a Dr [BIL] in the family. He passed from pancreatic at 51. The most health conscious member of the family.

I took a "sick day" yesterday. Slept the whole day. Wasn't up to snuff. Better. Time to open the doors and windows. Let the house warm up. Just had to say that. I know some of you are still enjoying winter. I didn't even have a fire last night. Have to go to the kitchen to get coffee. Back to work today. Laundry. Wife is doing grade cards ... she is "unavailable". They're due tomorrow. She will be off next week. Spring break. She needs the rest. I question her wanting to work "one more year"... She getting frazzled. Mostly the BS paperwork for the govt. I promise to not go off on a rant.... Promise!

Those LaScalas, of mine, will wait until Sept for me to get them. Unless I know someone with a lot of room headed this way. I'm just saying, I could. Not am. I bought them a month ago. Listening to a pair of entry level bookshelf R15M's for now. I look at their pictures... that's pretty sad HaHaHa
