I fully embrace the concept of siesta. thing move a little slower here. When I moved to Kauai, Hawaiian time came as no surprise. Very good at it. They make us look fast lane...

Just got a pair, myself. I have wood floors. Think I better get some rugs before they get here. -
Just talked to my sister/s in Elkhart ... Some pretty serious flooding conditions. My niece is playing touch and go getting to and from her place, my elder sister [she would kick me for saying it that way] had a "water intrusion" at her house .... and she lives away from the lowland. you folks, in the affected areas, please be careful

ambient sound levels do come into play, also... and noticing how loud the music is when you walk outside the house HaHaHa...It doesn't seem that "much" indoors -
are you using the link on the toolbar?

27 is nice to look at. Relate to, no. All of the convos would start with "When I was your age..."

Kinda small. lol there's 5 acres [officially] planted about 10 miles from here.... Water in AZ Our water is good, here. Tucson used to have decent water until TCE. Tucson has alway been [fairly] conservative with water use .... OK after the TCE, they started pumping "water" from the ColoradoRiver to replenish the groundwater.... Funny thing happened ... water use dropped. Why? Notice the quotation marks around water? You can't drink the tapwater any more just for the record the worst case of Motezuma'sRevenge I got was from the water in IdahoSpring Colorado

I have my own personal 9/11. Oldtimer, would I be correct in assuming they are using some manner of brushless motor in turntables now?
-
Hi Oldtimer They were just starting on coffee in the early 90's. Iniki raised hell, but the coffee survived. It wasn't very good, though. $4/lb says it all I was on Kauai from '90 - '98 cogging on an outrunner motor would most like show as flutter, if my terminology is correct. Wow is slower [?]
-
that was 20yrs+ ago. they are growing coffee on Kauai. Maybe the roast ... wasn't Kona. Sorry change up a question based on ignorance In the direct drive turntables is a large diameter "outrunner" brushless motor being used? With the platter as the "armature" outrunners tend to "cog" ["click" from one magnet to the next] but I am thinking the diameter would smooth it out I used teeny out runners in my r/c. Some were 2gm.
