  1. I too had the same problem... I cut up an old credit card, and pushed the strips in between the plexiglass and the screen edge... It fixed my problem. Two strips on each side, and one on the top and bottom. Make sure you push them in far enough, that they are not visually unattractive.... Free, and it works...
  2. ---------------- Which begs the question- "If Klipsch employees were jelly beans, which flavor would you be?" Michael - ---------------- Amy, do you need a taste tester for that ??
  3. Dude, it's not that big !! Mine is tucked up next to a love seat, in my livin..., er.., uh, I mean home theater room !! The girlfriend loves it... She can't watch 'TV', without firing the system up... Play the opening scene to U-571 for your wife, and she'll be hooked.. Before you know it, you'll have 2 of them !!!
  4. I'll bet Animusic is wondering where the influx of new orders is coming from... Hey, somebody else that needs to give a shout of thanks to Klipsch for.... Thanks again Klipsch, for doing a remarkable job.
  5. Gentleman and Ladies..... If you would like to hear something that really tests what your system has got, then go to www.animusic.com, and order their DVD for 14.95.. Those of you that went to the Klipsch pilgrimage, got a sneak peek at their latest endeavour, and it was simply incredible. I've seen a couple of people say they have ordered a copy.. I got mine !! It is just my opinion, but feel it is something you shouldn't miss... You guys are awesome !!!!
  6. Hey, there I am again, in the listening room... (better shot)
  7. Oh yeah.... Which question mark, you ask ? The ugly dude, in the middle, over the 'Klipsch Engineering' sign, on the handrail.. That is me !! Damn, sure wish I would have won that "Date with Amy" drawing that they had....
  8. WooHoo, I'm a question mark !!! I guess I didn't make it onto the list of date possibility, pilgriteers.... I'm so hurt, I didn't leave a memorable wetspot in history !!! Anyways..., Amy, Trey, the rest of the crew, I just wanted to give you my utmost thanks and appreciation, for what you guys and the company have done for us. I've been to all three tours, here in Indy, and it gets better each time !! And Amy, especially.., I must say that you have got it !!! (smiling) Thanks again, Klipsch !!
  9. 10 of Voom's HD channels are now being played by Dish Network.. The remaining 21 channels from VOOM, will be offered by the end of the year. The only drawback to receiving the extra HD on Dish, is you have to add a second dish to receive them. So, now you have to pay for the second dish, where they used to offer it free, until the buyout...
  10. I'm reading it off the S/N label on the back of the speakers. I just happened to notice it, while I was rewiring my entertainment center. At any rate, I tried an experiment by moving the 250 watt speaker from right to left, then left to right. And upon calibrating that speaker, it was 3db hotter then the other speaker, regardless of where it was in the setup... That is why I asked if there were 2 versions of the RF-5...
  11. I have a pair of RF-5's with two different Max power handling wattages. One is MAX of 150 watts, while the other's MAX is 250 watts... Which is accurate, and why the two different ratings. Are there two versions of the RF-5 ??
  12. I was just curious... I have a pair of non-sequential RF-5's. On one, the MAX power handling is 150 watts, and on the other, the MAX power handling is 250 watts. Is that a misprint, or were some 5's rated higher ??
  13. I live in Indy, driving to Fort Smith the end of the month...
  14. Home theater, for five, six, or seven channels, is calibrated for either 75 of 85hz. What would 2-channel stereo be calibrated to, with the low dynamic CD recordings of today ? Just curious..... Denon AVR-4802 Denon DVD-2900 RF-5's RC-3 RSW12
  15. C'mon guys.... How much output could you possibly want below 20hz ?? You all are wanting something you can't hear, anyways... IMO, go with the RSW15, and quit worrying about how hard you can inaudibly rattle something !!
  16. You will notice, if your receiver can auto sense DD signal, that it will decode in DD on almost every channel... That's not to say that it is putting out a true DD signal, but it is decoding stereo in to 5.1, to the best of its ability.... Beats listening to it in stereo, any day !!
  17. This might sound like a dumb question, but can digital coax be split from the source ? The reason I ask, is that my 'Dish Network' HD STB only has one digital output, and I want 2 (one for TV viewing, one for music). That way, I don't have to constantly keep switching parameters on one input, I could just switch between two inputs on my receiver... Thanks again !! You guys are awesome !!!!!
  18. You should be able to get a pair of RF-5's for $750...Ovation here in Indianapolis is giving them away at that price...Me, I paid $1500 for my pair 3 years ago, brand new, and I wouldn't trade them for the world !!! They are awesome for the price, dude !!
  19. I have the Denon DVD 2800.. I bought brand new for $750, and it does not have the Chroma bug issue that it is acclaimed for.. IMHO, it is the best player, (picture and sound wise) that I have seen.. I wouldn't trade mine for anything..Mated to a Denon AVR-4802, driving an RF-5 system, there is no sweeter sounding of a setup... You got a good deal, though at $350.. I wouldn't trade it off, dude !! ENJOY....
  20. I definitely plan on being there....Being 15 minutes away, I wouldn't miss it for the world !!!
