  1. Schmidty, ya a gamer? Nice video card. Would seem to be overkill if not. I am assuming the hard drives sizes are in Gig? 2. Lady Go to this web site and post your question about your new digital camera. It's a forum with a bunch of high tech techies. It's really a gaming forum, but most of the gamers are very Very VERY computer smart. Most work in the high tech industry actually. 5. Lady... is it a digitial camera? If so, you should be able to save the pics to your PC right? If it's not, do you know anyone who has a scanner? If so, have them scan the images for you. I suggest a .JPG format. It has compression built into it to makes the pics smaller. If the image is 75K or smaller, you can use the button above to post an Image. It's the one with the paperclip. OTHERWISE, here is the long scoop. You will need to be able to provide a hyperlink back to them on your computer. Do you know if you have a static IP address or not. What kind of internet connection do you have? Modem, DSL or Cable? If you have modem, I doubt you have a static IP address. If you DSL, you MAY have a static IP address. Actually, does your internet service provider give you any hard drive space for creating a web page? If so, put your pics up there on their web server. Then use the forum's Insert Link button to create a link back to the pics on your internet service providers IP address and your individual area on that web server. Make since or did I blow you away with techno talk like these guys do with their audiofile talk? ------------------ the m00n system Should have my R3 system replaced with R7 this weekends> FRONTS: RF-3II CENTER: RC-3II SURROUND: RS-3II SUB: RSW-12 RECEIVER: Harman Kardon AVR 520 DVD: Toshiba SD 3205 (DD, DTS) TV: Samsung 27" Flatscreen COMPUTER: ProMedia 4.1 c>Microsoft XBOXc> f>

    Wow

Ok so to try and change this grim subject matter.... Has anyone with an XBOX, purchased Monster Cable connectors? I was in a local store last week and seen that Moster Cable has a set that includes an optical to the sound, and I think it was SVideo. $50.00.... I was tempted but I resisted. Just curious if anyone has made that purchase and if it's really worth it. ------------------ the m00n system RF-7 Front floors RC-7 Center RS-3II Surrounds (May update to RS-7) RSW-12 Subwoofer Harman Kardon AVR 520 Toshiba SD 3205 DVD Samsung 27" Flatscreen c>Microsoft XBOXc> f>

  9. Well, I could have taken them back upto 10 days. Well it's past that now. Plus this store does not sell the RS-7s so it would have been a special order and he said he would not be able to give me much of a discount. Something like $30.00. Pft I said. So I called another store, he is willing to buy them and give me a decent discount. ------------------ the m00n system RF-7 Front floors RC-7 Center RS-3II Surrounds (May update to RS-7) RSW-12 Subwoofer Harman Kardon AVR 520 Toshiba SD 3205 DVD Samsung 27" Flatscreen c>Microsoft XBOXc> f>

  13. how much are you willing to pay? I have a local authorized dealer here in town willing to give me $400.00 for them. They are only 1-1/2 weeks old. Very little milage on them. 14. Yes but, they are not powered. I am faced with that delima right now. HK does have two amps listed on their AMP web site. I was considering the PA 2000. I am not going to worry about a rear channel. Not right now anyway. Perhaps in six or seven months down the road... Eh, but then I was not going to upgrade my speakers either. ------------------ the m00n system RF-7 Front floors RC-7 Center RS-3II Surrounds (My update to RS-7) RSW-12 Subwoofer Harman Kardon AVR 520 Toshiba SD 3205 DVD Samsung 27" Flatscreen c>Microsoft XBOXc> f> This message has been edited by m00n on 04-29-2002 at 04:17 PM
  15. Ok, so to upgrade my existing RS3-IIs up to CS7 is going to cost me an aditional $369.00. Is it worth it. I really like the idea of having R-7's all the way around, but not sure if exchaning the RSs is worth the money. Reason I'm asking is because I have not heard them. But am willing to take the advise of someone who knows how they sound compaied to each other. Anyone? ------------------ the m00n system RF-7 Front floors RC-7 Center RS-3II Surrounds (My update to RS-7) RSW-12 Subwoofer Harman Kardon AVR 520 Toshiba SD 3205 DVD Samsung 27" Flatscreen c>Microsoft XBOXc> f> This message has been edited by m00n on 04-29-2002 at 03:55 PM

  19. Well, I can tell you this much. I know for a FACT that they sound better with them on if you are me. Why you ask? Becuase I have two little ones running around and I guarantee you if not for the covers, there would be crayon scribbles, as well as Buzz Lightyear weapon impressions dented into the cones. And then there would be a daddy hand print impression on their little butts. So ya, make no mistake about it, they sound better with the grills on. ------------------ the m00n system RF-7 Front floors RC-7 Center RS-3II Surrounds (My update to RS-7) RSW-12 Subwoofer Harman Kardon AVR 520 Toshiba SD 3205 DVD Samsung 27" Flatscreen c>Microsoft XBOXc> f> This message has been edited by m00n on 04-29-2002 at 01:34 PM
  20. Eh, I dunno. I think they look cool. I like how the grill sits off the speaker. Freaks me out though with a four year old and one year old running around my baybees. Especially my sub. GAWD!
