  1. The scale is 1 : 87 which corresponds to the scales for the model railways. My father-in-law owned a railway system that covered the entire loft on an area of ca. 600 square feet. He built many castles and chateaus. That made him very famous in Germany. Many came to the exhibitions just to see his current and newest models. The construction of a model took a good 10 months with a time expenditure of a good 1,500 hours.
  2. Then I had a little time for Leo Kottke's album " Balance " 1979 , Label Chrysalis, Phonogram Germany
  3. I also have a white rabbit. The album is called " white rabbit " from George Benson and was released in 1979 on the CTI label (USA) with the musicians Airto Moreira, Herbie Hancock, Earl Klugh, Jay Berliner, Billy Cobham and Ron Carter. It is very rare.
  4. @RandyH Thank you for your video, it also shows the famous castle Neuschwarnstein of King Ludwig II. My father-in-law has reproduced the model by handwork true to the original. It was shown on many exhibitions in Germany. Here´s a picture which I had taken up.
  5. I wouldn't know where to start so spontaneously, so I'll start here with
  6. Honestly .....before 2015, the name Klipsch was a little-known term that came to me from and then to my life with audio technology. I preferred to build my own speakers with high quality drivers and crossovers from the Danish company Dynaudio. Before that I owned loudspeakers in the " High End " segment of the brands Jm Lab, B&W, Dali, Tannoy and Nubert. By chance I heard the series version of the RF 7 MK II at an audio dealer in Germany. I sat in the listening room for a good 2 hours and listened only to music I was familiar with from the RF 7 MK II. During this music session I was so impressed by the sound that I needed 2 packets of tissues to wipe the tears from my eyes. The vendor was completely speechless, because he had never experienced anything like this before. I bought the Rf 7 MK II immediately, despite the fact that I didn't need / wanted any new speakers. I have never regretted this purchase. I always knew that the RF 7 MK II had a much greater potential when it was completely rebuilt after a few years and modified with external " High End "crossovers. This is what I did then. If you want to know how this whole story ended, please read my thread " RF 7 MK II ...the queen is dead long live the queen",in the category " technical - modifications " currently on page 1. I have found the loudspeaker of my life and it will accompany me until the end of my life, without ifs and buts .......Maybe I'll build another AK 6 when I get retired. Then I have enough time for it and it is again a Klipsch best regards
  7. David Ian "Joe" Jackson (born 11 August 1954) is an English musician and singer-songwriter. Having spent years studying music and playing clubs, Jackson scored a hit with his first release, "Is She Really Going Out with Him?", in 1979. This was followed by a number of new wave singles before he moved to more jazz-inflected pop music and had a Top 10 hit in 1982 with "Steppin' Out". He is associated with the 1980s Second British Invasion of the US. He has also composed classical music. He has recorded 19 studio albums and received 5 Grammy Award nominations.

  9. My father owned a 280 SE 3,5 convertable in blue metallic colour and grey leather interieur . It was a brilliant vehicle.
  10. Jonathan Kenneth Butler is a South African singer-songwriter and guitarist. His music is often classified as R&B, jazz fusion or worship music.
  11. So once again we have something in common @JohnJ
  12. Got the album as Audio SACD. Yes it is really beautiful, similar to Katie Melua's productions. Only Melua was more successful as a singer songwriter. From both you don't hear anything new anymore.
  13. I just found the album which I have already heard at my cousin's house While I am looking at the cover ... my father loved the old Mercedes 280 SE / 350 SE . Those were still great cars, also in their interiors.
  14. Ekseption also interpreted Johan Sebastians Bach's Toccata in 1973. In general they had produced some great albums. Might also interest our mate @Full Range
  15. @JohnJ The Dutch band " EKSEPTION "from the 1970s comes to my mind, when I hear the " Moody Blues "
  16. Here are a few insights into our city ...and yes, the church tower is really leaning, but it's not the leaning tower of PISA in Italy.
