  1. Randyh......Glad to see you're back in good shape
  2. @JohnJ Your vinyl collection seems to be infinitely large and it covers almost every music genre. And yes ... Allan Parsons was the sound engineer who mixed and mastered Pink Floyd's album " The dark side of the moon ".
  3. I love this track, reminds me of Jim Morrison with his body language and charisma. I love his last production from 2014 (Caustic Love) A great album
  4. Spock´s Beard were great to listen too, thanx , the other video wasn´t available for me, beeing the germarican , as @oldtimer once baptized me. Thanx that you´re asking me how things are....very well, no time for nothing....no time to listen to my music and my stereo gear, no time to have a beer, no time to play with my both children, no time to find time out , it´s a timeless time right now . Hope that´ll end tomorrow afternoon. Looking forward to the weekend and having abreak from this daily TIC TAC TIC TAC ......Than I´ll drink some Bitburger as well, I´ll tell you than . We´ll then drink to the German-American friendship ...George

  6. I miss the Mac´s Album " Mirage "
  7. I think in every music there is a spirit of the times reflected in a certain decade. It started in the 1950s and ended at the turn of the millennium. Sting once said in 2001 " There is no note that has not been played yet. I also realize that all my musical preferences originate from the last century and that there is seldom contemporary music that can inspire me.
  8. Due to the ROHS standards in Europe only lead-free solder may be used. The high quality alloys have a silver content of max. 4 %. It is excellent to work with. The solder forms fine pearly drops, so it can be processed very well. Do not forget to use a professional soldering iron Temperature controlled soldering irons - 30 to 60 Watt: Temperature controlled soldering irons have an electronically controlled heating element. It prevents too high temperatures and thus too hot soldering joints. For this reason, these soldering irons are particularly suitable for fine soldering work in the laboratory. Temperature-controlled soldering irons either have a built-in temperature sensor or the electrical resistance of the heating wire is determined to determine the temperature. Disadvantage: Soldering irons with temperature control are relatively expensive. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2546172.m570.l1313.TR1.TRC0.A0.H0.Xsilver+solder+4+%.TRS0&_nkw=silver+solder+4+%&_sacat=0
  9. Welcome to the world of impeccable sound, the " IN-AKUSTIK REFERENCE SOUND EDITION ". This remarkable sound carrier from In-Akustik has been assembled with a love of musical detail. RESO Mastering, the new high definition maserting procedure, provides significant acoustic improvements in transparency, dynamics, bass reproduction and depth differentation. The music is gaining more atmosphere and emotion. To best transmit this musical experience, the Direct Metal Mastering ( DMM ) technique is employed and 180 gram pure Vinyl ( Virgin Vinyl ) is used for the sound carrier. https://www.in-akustik.de/en/music-media/
  10. I like the basic idea of this thread. But you should include an example besides the artist of the album and song, no matter if it is a vinyl record or CD / SACD. Youtube is a good place to introduce unknown artists and tracks. So I start with the Crimson Jazz Trio. The musicians are Jody Nardone / acoustic grand piano, Tim Landers / fretless bass guitar and Ian Wallace / drumset from the album King Crimson Songbook ( 2005 ) with the track Starless
