  1. Reimyo CDP-777 You'll never need anything else. http://www.enjoythemusic.com/superioraudio/equipment/0304/combakreimyocdp777.htm
  2. bump Need to sell these in the next two weeks or I'm going to have to figure out a way to transport them 900 miles which is something I can't really afford and don't want to attempt. I can't afford to pay to ship them and I don't have a vehicle large enough to move them.
  3. bump Paul...I haven't found anything better. I'm planning to move out of state in the next two weeks and have exhausted all resources trying to figure out how to get them there at an affordable rate. Reluctantly I think I'm going to have to sell them and then pick up another pair in the future. I'm torn on this as I would like to keep these vintage units but shipping them is just not an option.
  4. Nah...he won't get much more than that for a piece of paper.
  5. That is simply amazing. Two songs and a slip for that jack? Rarity rules over common sense.

That's just message board bandwagon folklore. ---------------- Do a back to back comparison with the MC240 and MC30's and you too will come to the same conclusion. I have no doubt that the MC275 is great with some speakers but not with Klipsch compared to the two others.
  7. Allan speaks the truth when it comes to McIntosh. Please listen to his advice. The MC275 is absolutely horrible compared to the MC30's, MC240 and MC225. Tube rectification is where it's at. Try and find some 30's. You won't be disappointed.
  8. After sorting through seven pages of complete, mine is bigger than yours, nonsense the only thing I'm curious about is why someone would bother to type "Klipsch out" at the end of everyone of their replies?
  9. My 1975 Khorns are officially for sale. They are walnut oil and the serial numbers are 7N214 and 7N215. The speakers are in excellent physical condition. The only thing they are lacking from original condition are the emblems which were missing when I purchased them. I bought these from the original owner four years ago in downtown Houston. He purchased them from Audio Concepts in 1976 and they had not moved from their position in his home until the day I picked them up. They have been well kept and in a smoke free environment. I am asking $2200 obo. Local pickup preferred. I have feedback on ebay as: srexsearch I can be reached at the following email address for all questions or will reply through the forum: smoky_ostrich@yahoo.com

  11. Nothing wrong with that finish guys. It is the Brazilian Mahogany aka Rosewood and it's uber rare in terms of Klipschorns. Look at the tags...KD-BR(Brazilian Rosewood).
  12. Sounds great Erik. I didn't manage to receive either your PM's or email yesterday. Use this email address from now on...it's different than the one I have in my profile here on the forum. smoky_ostrich@yahoo.com Ryan
  13. Erik, I have emailed and PM'ed you with a request regarding the Peach. Ryan
  14. Gilbert, The C22, C20 or even the new C2200 will work fine with the MC30's. Honestly for the longest time I just had the Rega plugged straight in to the MC30's, before acquiring my C22, and it sounded like pure bliss even then. I've heard the C2200 is dead silent and plan to purchase one in the near future so I can compare it to the C22. If your MC30's, when you get them, are running up to spec with excellent tubes you can do without a pre if need be. The tubes are key though as I'm sure you know already. I was using the RCA 6L6's that came with my MC240 for quite awhile until Allan hooked me up with a fine quad of KT66's some years back. They really improved the sonic signature greatly. Since then I've acquired one pair of WE 350B's but am still looking for another. I've had them for probably two years now, haven't used them once, and they just sit around collecting dust until the day I find that elusive second pair. There are pristine pairs to be had out there if you remain patient. Mine fall under this description and I managed to score them on eBay about three years ago for a little under $2,000. I'll sell my MC275 and MC240 long before I get rid of these although I hope it never comes down to me having to sell any of my Mac gear. Good luck with your hunt.
  15. Here you go. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5733736552&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT With these kind of prices right now I'm about to throw mine on eBay.

  19. 5 pair?? My bad. So you're going for a 14.1 system?
  20. Gilbert...you looking to make a 7.1 system out of Cornwalls?
  21. Could someone please list the prices for the networks from each of the forum members that Dean listed? I have been wanting to do this for awhile but have been putting it off. I just need an idea as to what I would be spending. For instince...give me a ballpark figure for a new set of crossovers that will simply return the speakers to OEM specs and also a figure for the "top of the line" networks. BTW I have the AA's with the caps unlike most of the AA's I see with the cans.
  22. It could easily be the seller's friend using their account to drive up the price in hopes that some poor chum will see them and think they're worth more than a normal pair for some reason simply because of the high price. It could also be the seller themselves using a completely seperate computer and a seperate ISP to bid against themselves for the same reason I listed above. Then again, it could just be pure lunacy.
