  1. @Tarheel, Chuckie if you're talking to me about my rig, vinyl, signed stuff and things with value both girls know what's here and what's locked up at other places. They could each buy Lambo's if they sold it @ auctions. Yea, dad's outta the box but he's always spot on. So I laff and take the heat they throw at me. Kids today aren't anything like we were. Wild! Items from people that were very close to me won't ever be sold. Offed a couple things once and a big time dude pretty much laffed at me. Then he saw pics I'd sent him and was my best friend. So I took it out on his commission cause he just HAD to sell them. Blah. World's full of morons and I ain't dead yet. Why? Ya wanna buy sumpin? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Ouch, will you quit stickin pins in that lil doll you have w/my name on it? Ouch. QUIT IT! πŸ˜‚
  2. Just keep him outta your face. Those two breeds are the worst on the planet according to an old vet I know. He has a Vet Hospital w/9 Vets working in there treating all kinds of pets. He charges out the rear but they're the best around. I saw him take a sedated lab off the table one day and put a bulldog of my sister's on the table w/a torsion. When I called him he said look at his eyes and if there's no blood showing in his eyes get here as fast as you can. It's stomach had flipped. Opened it up, flipped it back and stapled it to his rib cage. Crazy. Saved that dog then it got parvo and they sat with that dog 24/7 and saved it from that too. The lab got an extended nap. I didn't ask the cost but my sister gladly wrote the check. Guess they're pricey. I loved it when she started whining. Just gimme a mutt any day. Played a ton in my younger years. Gotta keep that swing werkin! Just another ace! lol I haven't seen it yet but she's got camera's all over that place. If I can figure out how to do it I will if she sends it. Thing is. She knows me too well. lol
  3. @Marvel she picked up an old female rott at the shelter a few years ago. Someone bred her a lot then got rid of her. There are two dogs on the planet I'd NEVER own. A rott and a chow. They have the brain the size of a peanut. When they flip they will take your face off in a heartbeat. Finally a couple weeks ago the kids got her out of the cage when I was there hangin. They brought her over to me and she snuggled right in. She was fine after that but I was in defensive posture the entire time. Prior to that she'd been crated and going nuts wanting to tear me up when I stopped or was there w/them. Daughter's second one that's the thing. They're freaky for sure. I'm good w/any other dog on the planet except Rotts and Chows. Maybe they could just crate me and let the dog out when I'm there. Then I could take a nap.
  4. Saw that youtube before and can't figure out why I'm watching it again. Must be Knopfler but it does give some an idea of the Klipsch sound. That instant gratification for newbies is right @billybob
  5. Those have to sound amazing. Tons of work for sure. Beautiful John!
  6. Freak out? Call Dad! πŸ˜‚ Oldest: Dad there's a freakin squirrel in my house. I've got the dog in the crate and the cats locked in a bedroom. This thing is running all over the house who do I call. Dad: HAHAHAHAHA & HA! Suit up and get after it! Don't look at me. Go get it girl! 20 minutes later Oldest: I got it Dad. I put Joel's big coat on (he's 6'3), my hat and gloves, grabbed the broom and got it cornered. Then I chased it with the broom out the back door! Dad: Good girl! πŸ˜‚ πŸ’ͺ Oldest: I've even got it all on video I'll send it to ya. πŸ˜‚ Guess I could have told her if ya get a bat in there flyin around she could borrow my old tennis racquet hangin on a nail in the garage. Blah, I'll save it for another day. Gotta have a tennis racketl Carry on
  7. @billybob Yea, it's like the old Little Ceaser pizza joint ad. 5 bucks, 5 bucks, it's ALL 5 bucks. It doesn't matter WHAT it is it's 5 bucks or close to it around here. Wild!
  8. Time to ride or die! THAT was yesterday around my place. Rode that coaster once and it's killer. How's yer heart tough guys??? Mine was thumpin last night just like it was when I rode that thing... 60 miles north of me on the coast of Lake Erie here in Ohio. Bring your A game & the kids. I got the lodging covered here. Hour north to heaven or H3ll ! lol Being the tallest roller coaster and the first to top 300 feet wasn’t the only records broken when it opened in 2000. It debuted having the longest drop and the fastest speed topping out at 93 m.p.h. Ranking as one of the world’s best steel coasters year after year since its opening, this behemoth shoots riders over hills, past lagoons and through tunnels, all at unthinkable speeds. With its silhouette illuminated in the night sky, it’s hard miss the iconic coaster on the Cedar Point skyline. About the only way I can describe last evening. A roller coaster. I unzipped the Dom Martin lp's, quick eyeball and laid them here on the arm of the couch for later. Finally figured I'd throw them on for a listen. After I ordered them I'd heard them on youtube and thought this dude's act IS together. Little did I know HOW together. Turned on my "aura" over the table to take a quick photo for in here and filled my shorts. Signed? Personalized? WTF is going on here??? I didn't buy any signed copies so I hit the site to make sure. Nope. How? Why? It was going around in my head and I was loving it. So this dude tours then gets home and signs lp's for people randomly? Who knows but I'm forever grateful and WILL be sittin front row or preferably a tour case (it's cheaper and my rear fits one) when he hits the US. It was almost as nice when my youngest daughter walks in the door @ Christmas. Home from Phoenix. Just crazy! Forever grateful for him doing that. They'll be in Crate #2 of signed stuff. That way I'll know where to find them in this mess of lp's stacked everywhere. Dom Martin (29) is a Belfast born award winning singer/songwriter, inspired but not constrained by the blues. In the past 18 months he has burst onto the UK and European music scene with a unique guitar style and voice captivating the audience at every venue. His main influences are Rory Gallagher, Tom Waits, John Martyn, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Howlin Wolf and Muddy Waters. With five BBC Radio live sessions prior to a first album release, Dom impressed with his 2018 debut original EP β€œEasy Way Out” with BBC presenter Cerys Matthews describing his work as β€œabsolutely wonderful stuff.” His debut album β€œSpain to Italy” was fully released on 4th December 2019 to critical acclaim and was an IBBA β€œPick Of The Month” gaining airplay on around 100 stations globally. bluespowr.com - 'Spain to Italy is not just one of the best debut releases we’ve heard in some time but among the best albums we’ve heard from any artist this year' makingascene.org - 'The likes of Dom’s talent only comes around once in a lifetime' Fatea Records - 'A musician of unbridled talent and a future that is assured’ After his debut sell out β€œSpring ’19 UK Tour”, Blues in Britain Magazine said - "Now and again you stumble across a rare talent of such sheer genius that you actually wonder whether what you have witnessed can possibly be for real. Dom Martin is one such talent" (Last FM) Sooooo, he's influenced by Jimi? Watching this I saw that flair and thought Jimi, Mitch and Noel??? Welllll yea, but now it's on him to reach way down and perfect it. He's on the right track imo... Gonna be a great watch for sure. Yea, the old curmudgeon is waitin... Listen up. Ready GO! Only time will tell. An added bonus??? Seriously? On to his latest "Buried in The Hail." Just enough bump to catch ya and that Rory Gallagher twist w/an added touch of Jimi once again? Crazy good! First thoughts? These two are totally KILLAH lp's. More to follow as I kick back and take it all in. Lyrics, his work, his band they just push all the buttons. The acoustic side? Smooth and clean! If ya can't catch a groove you're either deaf or dead! πŸ˜‚ Get off those gold cards your sittin HARD on! Get ya sum!
  9. Ok, I'm drooling. Came up with this wild idea of boycotting Kroger so have been diving into the stockpile. About time to rotate things but also getting ready for a massive wallet rape maybe this week but could make it a couple more. Started thinking all ya really need is a baked tater w/sour cream and butter. Factored in a cob salad w/goodies once a day. So that runs about 84$ a week and it's good stuff not junk. I hit Kroger I buy more garbage than I should anc drop more than the 84 a week AND have to put it together. Bacon, chopped egg, cheese, lettuce ya wind up chopping? It aint rocket science but when ya involve the nickel & dime stuff along w/the all the other garbage I wind up buying? Blah. It's good for me and I'm dropping weight which is also good. Won't be long and I'll be right back in Kroger playin the game though. Life's boring like that. lol Gonna soooo beat that darn grasshopper! Just hope things are ok on his end. Crazy!
  10. The planets aligned for me today. We'll see how tomorrow goes. Yea, it's a tease but you ALL know how I responded when @JohnJ posted a Dom Martin tune over in the youtube spinning thread. ONE song and I was IN with both feet running to his site picking up his last two lp's. Screw youtube & researching it was ON! It would have been 3 had his first one been in stock. Pricey from the UK? Didn't matter, it was going down you all know that! Yea, I did ANOTHER crazy thang! πŸ’ͺπŸ˜‚ The old guy who's outta room and has stacks leaning against the wall ain't done yet! So today, that parcel arrived safe and sound in bullet proof packaging along w/another couple lp's from my regular dude's shop. Tomorrow we go for a ride and you're all invited! You can always scroll on down too! lol
  11. @JohnJ Classic! πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚ Perfectly done!
  12. @Full Range your a wise man. lol Gotta get to sleep. Soon!
  13. Nooooooo, thank goodness. He wouldn't touch any of that food. He's still in training for WW3. That dude would kill ya in two moves. Prolly 1 to be honest. lol
  14. I KNOW I'm good til Wed. roflmao I think. At least it's Sunday around here. That mate of ours has it figured out by now I'm sure. Picture him in that fedora and OSU t-shirt @ jam night. They'd sooooo pimp him out. Think about it... 0-H
  15. Actually had about 4. lol The guy who smoked the ribs had 50# so his wife made 6 dozen devilled eggs and he did those at the same time. Guess there were smoked scalloped potatoes somewhere. The women were eatin ribs while dancin, which was hilarious. Had to be a mess to clean up. See what happens when someone has a birthday on 4-20 around here? THAT'S why they didn't have jam night Friday night. Yea, Nils and the brothers are fantastic. He's short leashed every tour. He gets lil runs here and there.
  16. I doubled up last night @JohnJ. πŸ˜‚ Bout 30 wimmen rolled in having a birthday party for one of them. Place was packed. Ya couldn't even get to the front bar so they had the back bar open. All kinds of food. Wound up w/a plate of ribs and about 25 amazing smoked devilled eggs. Figure that one out. Exactly, he's runnin on empty for sure. IF he'd cut Nils loose it would be a fantastic tour for sure imo. BTW @AndreG. that Di meolaio lp is great! πŸ˜‚ Know you'll enjoy that!
  17. @Abomb Take it easy on me I didn't know it was Sunday til 2PM. I wondered WHY my lil meds tray that said Saturday was empty. So I took Sunday's just to be safe cause I thought I remembered taking them yesterday. The boys moved Jam Night from Friday night to Saturday night THAT started all of this cause it's always on Friday. One of the guys in the band called me about 2 and asked if I wanted to head to Columbus with them to see Springsteen. He and his wife had an xtra ticket. Guess her sister was gonna go w/her hubby and he bailed. I said well that's tomorrow night. He started laffin and told me it was Sunday. Yea, ok... @JohnJ knows the kinda crap that happens on jam night. Dazed and confused. Sometimes I really think I need a "Medic Alert" bracelet! πŸ˜‚
  18. Sounds like a huge mosh pit to me w/a couple big guns! πŸ˜‚

    What I Got Today!

Had to re-read. Thought you said dafting machine. He's already Daft! lol Looks like an old converted Singer sewing machine to me. lol Now I'm not trying to insult John in any way cause it was HIS description of it to me. Aside from that i know nothing!
  20. @Abomb When you gettin out? Thought they closed that place???
  21. @imeiamme Don't look at me I have enough trouble with English. @Coytee Lawdy you serious? Boston? Seriously? πŸ˜‚ I somehow think NO but to be honest someone said something to me about an underdash and they were dead serious. If you are let me know but I ain't bitin my friend. I'd have to thunk. Think maybe it was boxes full of them at an auction somewhere. Well nm. Disregard this transmission I'm returning to my regular programming... Unless... πŸ˜‚ NM, I just realized today's Sunday.

    What I Got Today!

@JohnJ Where ya puttin the coffee maker and microwave?
  23. @Klipsch104db How'd it sound? Anything of substance? Only saw a couple I really wanted but they only had 3 of the one. Blah. Just another over-rated day in the land of vinyl. I was eyeballin the Neil Young release but I think I've got darn near all of his now. They did say they had 100 copies of Taylor Swift's drop yesterday! πŸ˜‚
  24. @Tarheel better get ya a couple.
  25. I'm a feelin it! πŸ’ͺ πŸ˜‚ Terence Charles "Snowy" White (born 3 March 1948) is an English guitarist, known for having played with Thin Lizzy (permanent member from 1980 to 1982) and with Pink Floyd (as a backing guitarist; he was first invited to tour with the band through Europe and the United States in 1977, and during The Wall shows in 1980), and more recently, for Roger Waters' band.[1] He is also known for his 1983 solo offering "Bird of Paradise", which became a UK Singles Chart Top 10 hit single.[2] Walter Trout (born March 6, 1951, in Ocean City, New Jersey, United States[1]) is an American blues guitarist, singer and songwriter. Trout's career began on the Jersey coast scene of the late 1960s and early 1970s. He then decided to relocate to Los Angeles where he became a sideman for John Lee Hooker, Percy Mayfield, Big Mama Thornton, Joe Tex, and many others. Between 1981 and 1984, he was the lead guitarist in Canned Heat.[1] He toured with them extensively in the US, Europe, and Australia. From 1984 to 1989, he was the lead guitarist in John Mayall's Bluesbreakers following in the footsteps of guitarists such as Peter Green and Eric Clapton. Trout recorded and toured with the Bluesbreakers worldwide. The many successes on stage were accompanied by a self-destructive lifestyle offstage. Trout recalled in a 2018 interview with Blues Radio International that while playing with John Mayall, he was rescued from a complete descent into alcohol and substance abuse by a post-gig encounter with Carlos Santana. Bottom line is he's lucky to be alive. It's a great read though. His new lp is killer! Nail it before it's gone. Ole' Joe B even want some! Nope not gettin that guitar either @JJkizak! Thank me later! This guy's great and hangs w/Mike Portnoy in the Winery Dogs right now. Richard Dale Kotzen Jr. (born February 3, 1970)[1] is an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter. As a solo artist, Kotzen has back catalogue of more than 20 album releases. He was a member of glam metal band Poison from 1991 to 1993, Mr. Big from 1999 to 2002, and since 2012, has been the frontman of the band The Winery Dogs. Legendary! If you don't know him ya better start ovah!!! Charles Edward Anderson Berry (October 18, 1926 – March 18, 2017) was an American singer, guitarist and songwriter who pioneered rock and roll. Nicknamed the "Father of Rock and Roll", he refined and developed rhythm and blues into the major elements that made rock and roll distinctive with songs such as "Maybellene" (1955), "Roll Over Beethoven" (1956), "Rock and Roll Music" (1957) and "Johnny B. Goode" (1958).[1] Writing lyrics that focused on teen life and consumerism, and developing a music style that included guitar solos and showmanship, Berry was a major influence on subsequent rock music.[2]
