I stood outside that tent looking in and there were about 20 "Bose guys" w/preppy red sport shirts on w/the Bose insignia on them one-on-one selling their garbage. When I saw that I HAD to go in just to listen to the "Bullshit." I saw 'em eyeballin me and when they pointed to my hat I ALMOST took it off just to go in. Then I had a PWK moment. 😂💪😎😂😂😂😂

Well ya got that part of it right. Now ya just have to "Leave It.* 😂

Back in the early 80's I took my cousin, who was shopping for a system. with me to a shop. I don't know what I needed but it wasn't much. Maybe album sleeves or something. I saw him talkin to some guy and figured he was pickin the guy's brain. I had the big Marantz receiver, a Dual 1229 w/a Shure V-15 on it running into a pair of ESS AMT-1. He'd heard it and liked it but man was i suprised. I paid for my stuff and he was still talkin. The dude went somewhere to do something so I asked if he was just about ready to go. He said no he just bought a pair of 901's, the Bose amp and was waiting on the dude to get some other dude cause he was payin cash for it all. I flipped out. Yup, he did and loaded it up in the car to bring it home. Soooo they sent him home w/no speaker wire. There it sat w/no wire. I let it sit there and came home. He called a week later and wanted me to hear it. Sad. ALL that money for nuttin. He's still got those things hangin and is still playin em. He said they're fine and his wife loves 'em. Yup, I'm shakin my head just like you are. Then about 5 years ago Steve Ferrone show'd up @ Sweetwater in FT. Wayne, IN. It'd been a couple years since we'd talked so I slipped out to shoot the crap. Then another friend Justin Johnson (the guy who plays the spade shovel guitar) was gonna be reppin for someone. Killed two birds w/one stone. Perfect! Headed outside and there was a big Bose tent w/people going in and out so I figured I'd go in for a laff. Two guys stopped me at the door of the tent and told me I wasn't allowed to come in. I said wtf, WHY is that? One guy pointed to my 75th Anniversary Klipsch hat and said "that's a no no." I laffed in their faces and said it's a shame you're reppin bullshit and walked away. Not a word outta 'em. rofl

Wellllllll, look at you guys go! The only thing I can tell ya is it'll be a cold day before I'm sittin on the floor again. There was a time though when a couple fems and I sat cross legged on the floor totally nekkie laffin at each other. Sure was a rough time gettin up and changin albums though. 😂

Should be an interesting week around here. Youngstown State coming in for a beat down so we're gonna see the same QB for most of the game Coach Day is gonna cut the other QB loose too. He still hasn't decided on QB1 this year. Should be raining footballs. Games on the B1G Network and I got a 15$ credit from Spectrum over the DisneyESPN price hike. Was told they may have a deal worked out soon and possibly tomorrow. Bleh. What's everyone else up to this weekend? Let's hear it.

Yea, me too actually. The thing that suprised me was the fact she wanted nothing to do w/digital. You and I both know film is the best way to roll but the digital stuff IS pretty darn amzaing today. I'll watch for a while til she figures it out. She will. Then ole Dad will ship her my 400/2.8 just in time for the PGA golf tournament she works at in Phoenix along w/another body for it. Then the next year she prints about 50 or 100 of her best shots, hanging files in a cardboard box in her trunk, include all my Chrome reprints of the OLD guys, 25 a pop or 2 for 40, new black Shapries for 5 so they can get them signed? She'll sell out in about 3 days cause I did EVERY year. Gonna turn her into a real BOSS. 😂 💪

Been there and still there. It's phone a kid around here. I get laffed at by either. The youngest in Phoenix is the worst. Sent her a new 50$ Nikon camera strap to replace my old one. She had some lil flowery cheapo picked out for 15$ somewhere. Seriously? So I get the email it had been delivered. Txt'd her and asked. I got a do you have a tracking number? Seriously? So I had to dig up the pic I took of the tracking number I'd already sent her on my phone. THEN I had to figure out how to copy and paste that AGAIN in a msg. Yea, she's teachin alright. Two minutes later I get a pic of the new strap installed and hangin around her neck. SO to get even I started in on her about how the strap buckles weren't even on either side of the camera body and a few other things I noticed. Bwa ha ha. Being the nice guy I am, today I transferred 200 into her account sent her a txt msg and told her to buy some film and impress me. Nope doesn't want digital for some reason. I think she thinks she's gonna out shoot me, which ain't gonna happen but maybe. Kids! Today, I take the oldest out for lunch. I'm telling her the story and she starts laffin at me. The youngest had already called her last night and told her. Yea, once again, they were laffin @ me. Grrrrrr. I feel your pain @grasshopper. lol

😂😂😂💪 Wellllll, ya pulled that one off @Full Range Since last weeks IU away game T.B.I.T.T.L didn't travel but they made up for it w/a Labor Day road trip of their own. Went up to Put-In-Bay island about 6 miles off shore from Port Clinton to have a lil fun. It'd been 10 years since they hit the island noted for the battle of Lake Erie me thinks in 1812. Huge National Monument there you can go up 600' and get a great view of the lake and surrounding islands. I knew they pulled it off and just found this vid. This one is from 10 years ago but it came down the same way on the 3rd. They killed it from the time they arrived til the time they left. You'll see tons of money sittin around up there but they're all there for the party. You have No idea how much fun those kids can have and it's non-stop! Free beer tomorrow! lol Enjoy! Non-stop from the time they landed until about 9PM when they left. 2 hour concert at the Perry's Victory Memorial. Wild! Should have been here @JohnJ. You'd look good in orange. Said no one ever! Two 40' Oaks next door in the backyard, 2 Maples out front South of me. Nine 40-50' Oaks and a 40' Ash to the West directly across the street. My pour lil 40' Honey Locust w/those lil tiny leaves is cake compared to the rest of em. Oaks just don't disintegrate so I'm screwed totally. Winds outta the West and SouthWest alllll day long. I know. Sucks to be me.

I'm up early for once. Time to hit the mower before the oven comes up to temp. Pushin mid 90's today so yea, I'm on it! Better enjoy it while I can cause leaves are next here in Sherwood forest. I could drop some big bucks and buy a rider with cans on the back but that would be too easy. So much fun whining about it every fall. lol No coffee yet but it's gonna happen in an hour. @grasshopper Well SOMEone thinks he can make a difference. I wondered but it could happen. I couldn't believe Ohio State hired John Cooper in 87 after two years @ ASU. THEN they kept him for 12? Coop had soooo many NASTY habits on the field coaching. Got a shot of him once w/his headset on throwing up his right arm to signify we got a TD and the entire time he was holding his nuts w/his left hand. Another one I got was the same thing. One arm up the left hand buried up his nose. Thought about makin t-shirts and sellin em up in Ann Arbor on game day.
