  1. ^^^^^^^^^^ Yea, something like that.
  2. Think that might actually be laying here unzipped in a pile. lol I know I was thinking about it when I saw it. Who knows? I'm so far behind it's unreal. lol
  3. Would Elmer's glue work? Kids eat it like candy. Ask your wife. That way I can throw the cheese in with the rest of the stuff like always. OR am I over-thinking this?😂
  4. Yea, they need glue! You're the go to guy! lolol @oldtimer's bottle of nuclear waste definitely took things up a notch! Even thought about a siesta but the neighbor kids are having batting practice in the back yard. They just can't seem to understand it when I tell them whiffle balls. Sooo, about ready to go up a step in the food chain & let their dad know. lol Wham and I hear it rolling down the roof. Grrrrrrr! lolol
  5. @MicroMara lots seem to think about Gaga and a money grab. Deep down inside though Gaga worked her magic and took him back to his prime knowing he was suffering with Alzheimer's. Thinking about a boost to her image? I don't know but I don't think she needs a boost w/anything. She's Gaga just like she's always been. She stepped up her game hangin with him when she didn't have to. Compassion for her fellow man? Respect? That boost? The real reason may surface someday but you can't say he wasn't happy with her. Dementia took my mother and it's the ugliest thing in the world to watch. Mom pushed me to take piano lessons when I was a kid. I did but it sucked so I quit. An old woman with a metronome? I was born w/a metronome! One day I saw a keyboard at a garage sale. The lady said it worked fine but her son never played it. Best 40$ I ever spent. Took it into my mom's room at the place we had to move her into. She had a fit yet that same day after I left she had someone push her over and she played notes with one finger. One of the aides there told me about it. I knew it would happen. The next day when I stopped she wanted to play for me so I pushed her wheelchair over and she played with all her heart one note at a time beaming at me. Yea, she knew me better than I knew myself when she pushed me into piano lessons. Then she was gone but I left the keyboard there for someone else to enjoy their last days on earth. Alzheimer's is such a horrible thing to watch loved ones go thru. Back to Gaga. I bought the lp's and enjoy them both believing what she did was a good thing for a fellow artist. The eye winks, fancy prom dress just all of it were what Tony remembered. He also knew she was darn good at what she did. Sad that he's gone but kudo's to her for helping him go out the way he should. Legendary!
  6. Life's about respect simple. One amazing guy for sure.
  7. Ok @grasshopper everything's in there including the kitchen sink. Do I use rubberbands or electrical tape to keep 'em rolled up? Asking for a friend.
  8. Duckburg is lookin up today! Just ventured out and northbound traffic is backed up all the way. Time to hit the streets a block over! Looks like the entire state of Ohio is heading up to lake Erie for the wallet rape. Can't blame 'em with a high of 81 today. Wildfire smoke has been knocked down from the rain and the french doors are open. Time to warm things up! Hat's off to @mr clean in here who turned me onto these guys. It's a hoot! Insanity at it's finest! Enjoy the weekend!

    The Other Discs

@AndreG. Yea, that happens here A LOT! 😂
  10. Coffee just went on so gonna throw a few down just for giggles. Jeff Beck ALWAYS stirred the pot that's a fact. Me thinks @the real Duke Spinner mentioned something a while back . I was in the dressing room when the Yardbirds played one nite just hangin back in '67. Beck and Page came in all fired up talking about how the two of them just killed it. Beck said "I told ya they'd love it" to Page bouncin all over the place. Little did I know it was the last time EC would play with them. "They" had decided to kick him outta the band. There was EC standing alone so that's where I went. I KNEW something happened but didn't know what so I just started talking for about half an hour. Kids just, for the most part, ignored him and I couldn't figure out why. I wanted something for them to sign and remembered seeing a poster on a telephone pole outside the lil teen club so I went out and pulled it off gently then took it back in. I asked if he'd please sign it for me and he did. Still just a few came over w/paper for him to sign. I waited and watched then saw some white guitar strings in his case and asked. Yup, they were nylon wrapped and he said the reason he used him was because they were easier on his fingers and nice to work with. Then he asked if I wanted one. Crazy cause I took it and was looking at it. He picked up his guitar and started showing me how he used them and ppl came over and watched. Amazing nite for me and he's always remembered me for some reason. So nice to see that the mutual respect was there w/Jeff somehow but EC did his thing and made it happen. There's more to the story but the coffee is just about done. lol I've rambled enough but it's therapy for me. lolol Music has always held a place in my heart and I've been fortunate to do what I've loved all my life. Just sit here and smile thunkin back on it all. Left of center can sometimes be a good place to go cause it's safe there. Other times ya get your ticket punched. I just enjoy sharin the love and experiences I've had. Sometimes ya wind up in some interesting conversations. Yea, therapy.
  11. Tubular Bells is an amazing lp. Always nice to throw into the mix cause it enhances and just shines. Funny how many people have the album and love it but sad it never got the air play most stuff gets. Crazy for sure. Mark Cuban here in the US is a lot like Branson I think. They're both are shrewd and wise investors who take care of their people. Many that know him think he'd make a great President but he dismissed that quickly. Virgin records? A very wise move as well as his airlines and anything else he touches. Here WE sit trying to figure out what to play next. 😂

    Food Porn

This thread always makes me hungry. Too much good stuff gets posted. Think I'll just stick to scrambled eggs, good cheese with some mushrooms and coffee for breakfast. Then more coffee.
  13. Darn kids anyway! 1AM and I'm not goin there. Maybe over coffee.
  14. Oh we ALL get that. Just keep dustin all those other things off. I'd dump 'em all right now while the markets hot. 😂 Khorns huh? Get back to us with your thoughts and an update on your back. You'll understand what we all said a bit better when you fire those Khorns up. Welcome to the Klipsch family.
  15. Don't worry we won't tell anyone. Me thinks you're right on both counts. So sure Imma not even checkin you out! 😂
  16. Wore it out didn't you? Just a heads up. @74 you're officially runnin w/the devil when I'm around. Left of center? Always! Fun watching your posts in here. You're learnin! For me it's just therapy! 😂
  17. Yup, just as I expected yesterday. AC ran allll nite properly and I woke up at 11:45. lolol Not much happened in the hood. Got the yard mowed before the front that came thru last night. Some nice rain to knock the wildfire smoke down a bit. Mid to upper 70's today sooo we'll see what the day brings.
  18. That ain't gonna happen w/him cause he's still butt hurt! 😂
  19. Life's a golden time but the 70's? Yikes. Hooked up w/a couple chicks one of which married one of my besties. The other? Yea, we hung as close friends but not me. Last I heard she was living like the old lady who lived in a shoe w/about 15 kids. Comprende? They were college roommates and used this as their theme song. Once in a while I throw it down just for the grin. Such a great song in addition to the rest of them on the lp. Sing along time for me! Waters runs just like water. Sometimes he's hot and sometimes he's cold. Me thinks it's another wallet rape but I'll nose. I will say his "The Wall - Live in Berlin" is truly an amazing lp. Wish I could have been there good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3umuFldCSrw&list=PLCWR7cftUj6STJIidfI3zTYKCyRpoSiCS https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UObAnJSHtEg&list=PLCWR7cftUj6STJIidfI3zTYKCyRpoSiCS&index=2
  20. Might just have to let a friend know who lives in the Springs. Be one heck of an upgrade for what he has now. Thanks!
  21. I jumped right into a pair of LS then picked up an older pair of Heresy. Zero regrets. Began w/a pair of ESS AMT-1's years ago then a pair of Infinity Reference Standard 2.5's, which sounded great w/the EMIM ribbons. Today I'm very happy w/my old LS. They beat an air fryer every time when it comes to cookin. I'd be lookin for a pair of LS or K horns if I were you. Welcome Home!
  22. @JohnJ don't chomp down on that cyanide capsule just yet. Let things marinate a while cause it always sorts! 😂 Now to check my lottery ticket from last night. Then I can make ANOTHER trip for that coveted 3$ ticket for tonights drawing. People coming outta the woodwork here buying tickets. It only takes one. A 3$ winner always torques those high rollers so there's that! 😂
  23. The old diabetic hasn't really had a beer in 20+ years. Maybe a Heineken once in a while or a TALL glass of scotch neat on spatial occasions. You're spot on though. Schiit happens and ya gotta do what ya gotta do.
  24. Ha, the old guy just found one of the best bands in Ohio on youtube and didtn't even know they HAD a youtube video. Ya wanna go on a ride? You can run it all if ya want or ya can jump to about 13:00 and buckle up and ride it to the end. Ekoostik Hooka out of Cbus have been around for years. They're good, darn good and have a great following. Do Hookaville a couple times a year w/camping tons of other groups but they're the draw. It's a fun time for sure whenever ya get to see 'em. One of the best gunslingers around imo is Steve Sweeney. He does his thang and can and has run with Warren Haynes & Bob Weir. This clip is nuttin but trust me he'll take you on a ride live. Enjoy! Midwest tour plans for next summer so keep your eyes open and thank me for the great time later. That's nuttin honey!
