Buy a Blad, the glass and a couple backs. Used two for years w/zero problems for portraits, weddings, senics, etc. Then buy a Halliburton case. When I hung it up I got almost every penny back.
Having to wait at a wedding for uncle Charlie and every other moron w/a point and shoot got to be old. Even if you had it written into the contract. Every wedding, etc came out beautiful w/the blad and I was chargin 3500 per gig. It's a pay to play sport today like everything else.
Internegs are a stretch w/any format. That FUji 50 does look nice though. Go get 'em tiger!

Monsoons last night in Duckburg. It flat poured most of the night. No idea how much cause the rain gauge isn't out but the back yard has a small lake today. More on the way this afternoon and evening "they" said.
That coupled w/the taxman? All in the same day? Not pretty.The only dude making money was my CPA. The kid owns 9 Arby's and is now running his dad's H&R Block office next to the first Arby's he built. Ginne a break. Said business was good so I told him I couldn't believe he sold that many liver sandwiches. I did get lunch outta him though.
Think liver next time ya take a bite of one... Yuuuup...

Been spinnin a bit today and actually put away some stuff..
That went down yesterday so i eyeball things and find thise one pop out! Yup jumped right out begging me and everything so I caved!
Genesis Revisited: Live at the Royal Albert Hall is a live album by musician Steve Hackett. It was recorded at the Royal Albert Hall, London, during the second UK leg of a tour around the release of Genesis Revisited II. It features a full set from the show performed on 24 October 2013, including 18 Genesis songs. The box set features the full live show across two CDs and on one DVD, together with a further DVD containing two documentaries.
It's a bit pricey but well worth every penny! .

58 here, sunny yet cold. Enjpyed dinner w/the daughter and hangin for a couple hours watchin hoops. Thinking about doing the exact opposite @Tarheel. Still can't sleep so might hit a shot or two of scotch before bed. This is nuts. Hope everyone enjoyed their Easter Sunday. Ya got a good lookin crew there @Invidiosulus! He HAS risen!

Live at the Isle of Wight Festival 1970 is a live album by the American rock band the Doors, released on February 23, 2018, on Rhino Records. The concert was recorded at the Isle of Wight Festival in England on August 30, 1970, and this was released by Eagle Rock Entertainment. It was the group's final appearance as a foursome outside of the US and also the last full filming of a Doors concert.[1]

It documents his 2015–16 world tour to promote his album, Rattle That Lock (2015). The concert was directed by Gavin Elder. The album was released on 29 September 2017.

King Crimson were an English progressive rock band formed in 1968 in London. The band drew inspiration from a wide variety of music, incorporating elements of classical, jazz, folk, heavy metal, gamelan, blues, industrial, electronic, experimental music and new wave. They exerted a strong influence on the early 1970s progressive rock movement, including on contemporaries such as Yes and Genesis, and continue to inspire subsequent generations of artists across multiple genres.[1] The band earned a large cult following.[2][3]
Founded by Robert Fripp, Michael Giles, Greg Lake, Ian McDonald and Peter Sinfield, the band initially focused on a dramatic sound layered with Mellotron, McDonald's saxophone and flute, and Lake's bass and powerful lead vocals. Their debut album, In the Court of the Crimson King (1969), remains their most commercially successful and influential release, with a potent mixture of jazz, classical and experimental music.[4] Following the sudden simultaneous departures of McDonald and Giles, with Lake also leaving very shortly afterwards, the next two albums In the Wake of Poseidon and Lizard (both 1970) were recorded during a period of instability in the band's line-up. A settled band of Fripp, Sinfield, Mel Collins, Boz Burrell and Ian Wallace recorded Islands in 1971, though in mid-1972, Fripp let go of this line-up and changed the group's instrumentation and approach, drawing from European free improvisation and developing ever more complex compositions. With Bill Bruford, John Wetton, David Cross and, briefly, Jamie Muir, they reached what some saw as a creative peak on Larks' Tongues in Aspic (1973), Starless and Bible Black (1974), and Red (1974). King Crimson disbanded at the end of 1974.

Here are both my baby girls. Marissa and her baby girl Kyia. together thru college and grad school and Dad was always the go to guy. That lil girl NEVER leaves her sidewhether its in the house or out running 3-4 miles. She's right beside her. Fully trained and guaranteed to rip nads off. She's only got a few more years left. Riss just told me she's putting her in diapers at night. The times coming and we both know it. It'll be a super sad day when she has to put her down. Best dog I ever saw and she's loved by every friend of hers. Gonna be crazy bad.

Just finished up with this one. Things are a cookin here and I'm soooo tweeked in. Sound stage is running the entire wall. Corner to corner. Back in the sixties when I picked up that lil Klipsh booklet for my report I now know WHY he made so much sense. He's gotta be laffin at me cause this place is alive. They were active from 1977 to 1988 and again from 1990 to 1995.[2]
Dire Straits' fourth studio album Love Over Gold, an album of songs filled with lengthy passages that featured Alan Clark's piano and keyboard work, was well received when it was released in September 1982, going gold in America and spending four weeks at number one in the United Kingdom. The title was inspired by graffiti seen from the window of Knopfler's old council flat in London. The phrase was taken from the sleeve of an album by Captain Beefheart. Love Over Gold was the first Dire Straits album produced solely by Mark Knopfler, and its main chart hit, "Private Investigations", gave Dire Straits their first top 5 hit single in the United Kingdom, where it reached the number 2 position, despite its almost seven-minute length, and became another of the band's most popular live songs.[35]

He is a singer, guitarist, and songwriter, living in Nashville, Tennessee. He has been described as "a living link to the seminal Delta blues that travelled up the Mississippi River and across the expanse of America."[2] His post-modern blues style is influenced by many eras and genres, including folk, rock, jazz, pop and country. The moniker "Keb Mo" was coined by his original drummer, Quentin Dennard, and picked up by his record label as a "street talk" abbreviation of his given name.

Picked this lp up a couple weeks ago and couldn't believe I found it. 99% of the time his stuff just evaporates. The really down side of it is he only puts out limited copies but more cd's. Sounds absolutely fantastic on my rig. You want more info on him look him up and yoiur jaw will drop if you've never really heard of him. Thank me later! lol

Poco was an American country rock band originally formed in 1968 after the demise of Buffalo Springfield. Guitarists Richie Furay and Jim Messina, former members of Buffalo Springfield, were joined by multi-instrumentalist Rusty Young, bassist Randy Meisner, and drummer George Grantham. Meisner quit the band while they were recording their first album, Pickin' Up the Pieces, though his bass and backing vocal parts were kept in the final mix. He was replaced by Timothy B. Schmit in 1969, and Messina left in 1970 to be replaced by Paul Cotton. The line-up would change numerous times over the next several decades, with Rusty Young being the only constant member. A reunion of the founding members occurred in the late 1980s-early 1990s, and the band has continued in some form through 2021, though they retired from active touring in 2013, with Young citing health concerns as the primary cause of his retirement. Young died from a heart attack in April 2021.

The band's longest-existing and most commercially successful line-up consisted of keyboardist Tony Banks, bassist/guitarist Mike Rutherford and drummer/singer Phil Collins. In the 1970s, during which the band also included singer Peter Gabriel and guitarist Steve Hackett, Genesis were among the pioneers of progressive rock.
The group were formed by five Charterhouse pupils, including Banks, Rutherford, Gabriel and guitarist Anthony Phillips, and named by former Charterhouse pupil and pop impresario Jonathan King, who arranged for them to record several singles and their debut album From Genesis to Revelation in 1969. After splitting from King, the band began touring, signed with Charisma Records and became a progressive rock band on Trespass (1970). Phillips departed after the album's recording, with Banks, Rutherford and Gabriel recruiting Collins and Hackett before recording Nursery Cryme (1971).
