  5. @AndreG.I need a phono-pre for the Marantz. I'm running a Schiit Mani for a phono pre and it rocks. Eyeball it on youtube. $150 and it works great. Next up will be a Puffin me thinks. I'll ship it to ya and you can send me beer! lol B-52's and album art? Can I get back to ya on that guys? Jeff Beck is a mind wrecker. His stuff, and everyone else's stuff he's worked on? The pile would be HUGE so it's a tough call for me. Just another pile right?l I'm looking at 6 rn. Time to spin today and shove lp's I guess. Ugh!
  6. The bond the Chief had w/Misschief had was truly a special one.

  8. I have a pair of 81's in OW sitting here with my LS. Imma thinking your's have the K-%%-V mid driver. Thinking 80 & 81 were the only years that was done. Put a pair of risers under them and enjoy the ride. You'll love it! THEN tell me what they're worth. Carry on!
  9. @MicroMara ^^^^^^^ I KNOW ur lurkin! Maybe! lol
  10. That I'll NEVER understand! Must have come from a marriage made in heaven. "Sure honey get the speakers." The next time you leave and come home to crank it. "Don't you think my plant looks nice up there???" 😂
  11. THAT'S the pecking order I always heard about. Cologne had everything and more they used to say. Why? I dunno, never been there. lol Has to be wild though! Couldn't think of the name of it though. Always wondered why Berlin was number 2. They had the wall going up and down finally so maybe that was it. What's the REAL story George??? Got me wondering now.
  12. THAT would be an interesting listen even with your doors closed. lol If it was 61 outside I'd be pi$$in off the neighbors. Gotta air this place out. 😂
  13. 51 here today? I'll take it! The T-Rex? Nope think I'll save my energy. Think I'll throw this one on instead. Nothing like rollin out at 11 after a rough night. 😂 This one came to mind from 1963 then I remembered Linda nailin it 10 years later. Today though they both kinda work. Even got a lil sun out there. What's in your wallet? 😂 Nuttin skeered Linda she just put on her smiley face and nailed everything in her own way! What a difference 12 years makes. Wait there's a youtube thread? Droppin it right here! It's a heat wave! Enjoy!
  14. David Russell Gordon Davies (born 3 February 1947) is an English guitarist, singer and songwriter. He was the lead guitarist and backing vocalist for the English rock band the Kinks, which also featured his elder brother Ray Davies. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 as a member of the Kinks. Davies is prolific with his innovative nature on the electric guitar, specifically in being one of the first to utilize electric guitar distortion and exposing the effect to the mainstream. His signature distorted power chord riffs on songs would heavily influence future heavy metal and punk rock acts. In 2003, Davies was ranked 91st in Rolling Stone Magazine's list of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time".[1] Some good stuff right here!
  15. Once in a while ya have to take the new technology and go back a few years. Sometimes ya find that guy who's always been left there on the shelf for years. Nice to put your feet up and relax right outta the box. Me thinks that $40 is a bit steep but look at it this way. It wasn't really a killer album then but over the years he's finally starting to get some recognition for a great career feeding the machine. Boz Scaggs is the second studio album by American musician Boz Scaggs, released in 1969 by Atlantic Records.[a] A stylistically diverse album, Boz Scaggs incorporates several genres, including Americana, blue-eyed soul, country, and rhythm and blues. The lyrics are about typical themes found in blues songs, such as love, regret, guilt, and loss. Scaggs recorded the album at Muscle Shoals Sound Studio with producer Jann Wenner, the co-founder of Rolling Stone magazine. The Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section heavily contributed to the album, which included a young Duane Allman, before his rise to fame with the Allman Brothers Band.
