Does Klipsch still sell the drivers and horns for the 20s? Then I could make a cabinet. Since the speakers are so rare here. What center speaker matches the t500?

That's funny you mentioned that. Just found a pair of h100s for 650.$. I really like the idea of making a center from a klf20. But I don't see them pop up very often, where I'm located.

I found one cheaper than that. That's why I asked. I would rather have the klf c7 or to turn another klf 20 into a center.

What do you all think is a fair price for it? In very good condition. Also, how well do you think it would pair with klfs or the t500s? Thanks

Where there's a will, there's a way. Small China amp and my dac mp3 player.... couple of wires. Fits in pocket 😜

Dang, I worked that show. Set up and tear down. Didn't know Klipsch had a booth, it was so big. Would have lovedddd to hear the jubilee's!!

Are you perhaps going to Las Vegas anytime soon? My klfs 20s are lonely.

The beauty of the hobby. Is that once you get everything. You really don't need to spend more money. If taken care of, things rarely break. So the initial cost maybe high, the maintenance is almost nill. Unlike cars or boats or..... Welcome to the fun!

I have klf20s, kg4.5s, t500s and a few others....in an RV. Sounds great. Just do it. You can always build an addition 😉

This is what I'm working on. I'm ignorant but not scared. The good thing about this HK? it was practically free. So if I muk it up, I don't care. If I get it working? it should be a nice sounding unit.

Thanks, I will end up doing all this. I just know that every speaker that I've deadened, has benefited from the deadening.

I have a bunch of plans and tests. I just don't want to ruin the originals looks. I plan on deadening the inside of the horns also. Dynomat then MLV. My t500s horns hit a resonance around 2-3k. I can hear this shrill and want to tame it. My klfs do it to. Just less noticably.

Well the 50wpc was an pioneer avr and the 150 a Sony avr receiver. Wasn't tube vs SS. Was just pointing out the klfs need power. How much??? Dunno. And that they sound like poop underpowered. Which at first, I thought the speakers were broken and was disappointed with them. Now they sing with no sub in sight.

Looking to do some experiments with deadening horns. Just need the horns. No drivers. If you have or know where I can get some cheaply. Hit me up. Thanks

When I was under powering the klf 20s. 50wpc. The low end just wasn't there. Not even a whisper. I switched to an old school Sony with 150wpc. The difference was night and day. I haven't tried yet, but I'm sure they benefit from biamping. I don't know what the wattage limit is. But you will hear it when it's getting in the sweet spot.

Just picked one up as a package deal. Left channel doesn't work. Probably needs a good going over. I have some deoxit, screwdrivers, soldering iron and the interwebs....what would be a good resource on how to fix this thing? Thanks 🙏
