I never noticed that before... That beta has been there since I bought mine.... Look at the version numbers. I think that the date is a typo. EDIT: I just sent them an email to confirm the date. I will post the reply when I get one.

Think how I feel.... My campus has 600 computers, 40% mac & 60% PC... & they all have to talk to the same servers & be able to share files.

Last year in Hope, I was hanging out helping with the cleanup after the concert, & started talking to a guy who worked there for many years. As it turned out, he built my 84' Belle's. It was an honor to thank him..... It makes me even sadder I can not make it this year....

Remember, when you are playing a movie, most people use the digital out to a receiver. That means that the receiver is responsible for the sound quality, & the player is just a transport. In this case, they "should" all sound the same.

It's funny to see everyone say the Oppo 981 is on this list. I have it & am amazed at the DVD playback, but I found the CD playback was very flat & unimpressive compared to my Adcom CD. Is everyone using the analog outputs during CD playback?

I am actually in need of a pair, but since I am on the opposite shore from you, shipping would be needed. Either way, I was also thinking of trying Bobs custom replacements. I hear good things about them.
