  1. This news is actually a few days old, but all of the repercussions are coming to light. Someone hacked into the Computer Storage of medical records of a firm on the West Coast. Records from all across the Country were stored there. 180,000 names, S.S. numbers, addresses, telephone numbers, Dates and places of birth, along with other personal and medical information were taken. If you note anything suspicious, contact your local Authorities or the F.B.I. immediately. A suggestion, one thing asked for when calling about your Credit Card Account is your Mother's Maidn name. Add a pass word plus the maiden name that both have to be given. Make sure you can remember that Password. Check your Credit History as often as either allowed free or you wish to pay.. You may find other cards or addresses or a clear account. But as so many things - it's up to you.
  2. They're also buying a television station with a history of mal-function - hence the please stand by on the screen and in her announcement. With this kind of quality in hedginging, it is NOT a Local Office. Amy is either going President or Senator. President, she will have my vote. Unless she is going to throw Camilla out and take over. Then add a manufacturing section to Westiminster Abbey.
  3. Okay I have her first sentence figured out - Klipsch is diversifying, buying a pharmacy business and it will go back to the old name - Fay's (shifting)

I enjoyed the thread and I thought the violent language was metaphorical. I for one, sit out here in cyberspace, shaking my head (in agreement) on the substance of that thread and the reason for it's deletion puzzles me. Oh well, I'm not the playground monitor ---------------- You're smart enough to see that. Some people actually follow through.

That'll do it. Michael ---------------- You know you're right Michael. Makes you wonder doesn't it. We had one where a person started driving towrd an Officer out his Cruiser.
  7. It would be nice to be able to get replacement inspection stickers as they fade over time. dodger

  9. Now just figure if any of the shots had accidentally hit someone. The would beo robber had to be basically brain dead or so high he thought nothing could hurt him. More brazen everyday. dodger
  10. That one could have gone south quickly. At this point, the word Jihad and its implications are still a problem. Bin-Laden has not been captured, any mention of weapons, destruction or terrorisim puts the Military and Law Enforcement on a full alert. Living within walking distance of our Airport, I know the noumber of marked cars are doubled. That does not include Private Security along with any plain-clothes Officers. We don't really get reimbursed for those costs. The Airport is just one of a number of points where Security is increased. It could have had Episcopal But there are enough different factions to now warrant checking them out. It's like yelling Fire in a crowded theater. We are starting to become complacent again. We can't afford that. We needn't be Chicken Littles. But it has been shown more than once now that we are not impregnable. I never want to hear "Amazing Grace" on bagpipes again. I never want to see the absolute ruins that that I've seen on our soil again. My former Attorney was a member of the Unitarian Church. But when the second word is added, some will speak out, some will feel a pain, because of money and unknown alliances. dodger EDIT: Sorry, Apology accepted, no problem. Don't understand why people take swipes at other people's Churches (response to reply below) - we should have enough room to accept. Take Care. END EDIT
  11. The way it was presented was not humurous. It was stated to come from an unknown source with no knowledge of whether other media sources would run it. Especially questionable if you lost a loved one or friends on 9/11. Personally if there was a note of a humour "disclaimer," so to speak, okay, but with the different threat levels and different calls for a Jihad Eleven Funerals plus Memorials sometimes makes it hard to see the humour. dodger
  12. This is the second time within the past 5 or so weeks the same scenario has been mentioned. The first minus the Cornwall. So it seems asif you desire Belle's as they are, an order be placed. The first one also mentioned the Heresy being updated, having a better low end and Titanium in the drivers? dodger

That would allow for the restoration of the Cornwall into the Heritage line. Then all the "Cornwall Evangelists" could dance and shake their fingers whilst singing, "neah neah told ya so!" ---------------- IMHO if the Cornwall people did that (mind you I own Cornwall IIs) it would be as tacky as discontinuing the Belle. There's a lot to each speaker, but to me one should not be gleefuful about one being ended and possibly one being re-started. Any joy should be if the speaker sounds good. dodger
  14. Apology: Personally, I did not see a price change. Even if there was one, that is the sole discretion of the seller as is the price. I apologize for rude treatment, as I stated yesterday, if Michael was man enough to overlook anything I commend him. We do not welcome newcomers in that manner. If we we now do, we are the poorer for it. I do not care, nor does it matter one iota what anyone else paid for their piece. If they received a good deal we cheer them on. We rarely have the chance to say much to an unknown eBay Seller. To question price would be tanatamount to questioning how much each paid for their Klipsch Speakers. And yes in searching I did find where it was noted that the shipping price was revised. Any change to the ad is noted as a revision. But my apology for questionable treatment is here. dodger
  15. Greetings: I do have Cornwall IIs My Sister in Law and her Husband are into bike repairs. Can you send me the specs - i am a know nothing - so that I may forward them? They are friends with Greg LeMond, go for Century Rides, Etc.. I am i Rochester, NY. They are just moving to Red Bank NJ. Win dodger EDIT: Sorry: Congratulations on the baby! END EDIT
  16. Fini, I can add no words of sorrow. I'm glad that she brought you into this world. I feel honoured that you share those photos with us. Thank You. You have gained a Guardian Angel. In the hardest form possible. You, Your Mother and Your Family will be in my thoughts. I am sorry. Win
  17. VM has a unique voice. Put that together with the quality of material chosen and you have a winner. To me when he wants, his voice is another instrument. Great listening.
  18. Well, I commend you for taking the measurements and also for risking your drivers. You either have to be very research oriented or you wanted to have fun on Spring Day. In either case, Congratulations. dodger
  19. UUUUUUUMMMMMMMMM,well, at least you called, and thanks for calling. I'll buy lunch for you. For your time. dodger EDIT: Has nothing to do with earlier post mentioning calling. That was a misunderstanding. END EDIT
  20. Also IMHO there are members that will give you any advice on what mid to use. rjk is one.
  21. And in all seriouness Dean, From reading your Posts, seeing photos of the work that you do over the years, and the for lack of a better word right now, reading the testimonials written by those that have bought from you - I would have defended you in the same manner. Being around as long as I have, but not as long as you, has allowed me to watch you grow in the quality you provide and the Customer Service that you provide. I believe in that type of Service and as it does become a smaller commodity, I defend it. So we both were defending Bob. Okay, no ill, a misunderstanding. But truly had it been you, it would have been the same. Hope you have a good day today. Win

A newbie or one not knowing differences could have taken the wrong inference. That Could have either been left out or the explanation given after my sarcarcastic comment could have been included for reputations sake. Turn it around to your crossovers. I have shown you, until this post, nothing but respect. I publicly stated that you held crossovers for me - I let you EDIT:waitEND EDIT before turning them dowm. That has been stated before. I am sorry. I have wished you success in your business ventures - cleaning 299 chassis, your crossover business. I am glad that we had this in the open. I hope it clears all. Respectfully, dodger
  23. So there is a potential that Bob is misleading his clients also? Phone calls can clear that up.
  24. Hi Fini: I'll keep a Good Thought and add her to our Church Prayers, as I will with You and you Family. My Best, Win
  25. Living in the City and being with the Cith City's Force, one hears about the safety of the suburbs. Population density, newer construction with fewer windows on dorrs, automatomatic garage door openers help contribute to that impression. The coverage by the media also is a big factor. Two Homicides - one in a City Park the other in an upper class Suburb about a mile and a half away. Guess which was on the front page of the local section about 14 paragraphs, the other one paragraph on page 6. These were on the same night, same person committed both. Solvability factors are quite different also. Possible witnesses to persons, vehicles, bikes. Things taken can differ. But no restitution mentioned is a bother to me. She can sit in jail, but that doesn't get that person's money back. dodger
