  1. Been doing some research for quite awhile. I wanna upgrade front stage to be all heritage. But been thinking and want to get some ideas from real user. Now im using rp504c as center speaker pairing with Forte IVs not sure if Cornwall III will be too much or better than Forte IV. Or 3rd Forte IV will be just perfect. Or RC64III is better. from what I was told, Forte IV is way better than RC64III. But not sure about cornwall iii
  2. Hi everybody ! I'm having a little problem. How to listen to radio online on Android mobile phone, currently I am using Samsung, I want to listen to music on it, but I can't access it. Who can help me?
  3. Hoping someone who's owned Epic CF-2 or other Epic series speakers can help - I picked up a pair of Epic CF-2 speakers this week but they don't sound so great. I would have failed them at the demo but thought the space might have had something to do with dissipating bass (1,500 sq. ft. garage with bay doors wide open). What don't I like? Simply put, they aren't nearly as musical as the pair of KG 3.5 I bought two weeks ago. The highs are decent, but mid range and bass are both muddy and poorly defined. The KG 3.5's playing Eva Cassidy "Live at Blues Alley" blow them in detail - and they're not even that detailed! So, what gives - is it possible this is a bum pair and need crossovers replaced? Or is the KG series more musical, more natural-sounding? Is it too much to ask for CF-2's to handle 2-channel duty; are they better as rear surrounds above 80 Hz? Any help would be appreciated - thanks! --Scott O.

  5. Hi I've searched far and wide for an answer to this, but haven't had any luck yet... Is there a receiver on the market which lets me play music through more than only two channels? I don't want to play it in surround, because music through surround mode gives zero sound. I want the sound that normally comes through the two front channels to come through my entire 5.1 setup. In regards to this, im not interested in downloading software that enables music services such as spotify to play with 5.1 or adding amps to my system. Im asking if there is a "all-in-one" solution, such as a receiver, that lets me play music through more than two channels?
  6. Hi Anyone else got much higher and better sound from music, rather than media? Such as bluray and Netflix? Ive setup the soundbar witch ARC to my apple tv4k. Im using the RSB-14 like a reciver. Everything connected with HDMI Bluray and Netflix sounds really low, compared to Spotify streaming thru the Klipsch stream. Is there som settings that I might have missed? Anyone else got this "problem" ?
  7. Hi Gurus, Am new to the forum and trying to put a new system together to replace one the kids helped themselves to :-). Purchased KLIPSCH Speakers as follows Fronts 2- RF-7III , Center 1-RC-64III, Rears 2-R250S, Bass- 1-R112SW ( will add another base and or surrounds matching if needed and have second area by the pool to play simple outdoor AV and music so two zones.) Looking for suggestions on what I should use to drive these, room is 45x60 ft open area kitchen, living breakfast nook. Read on-line that I should get the speakers I want and then look for suggestions for how to drive them and thats where the choices started to make less sense. Appreciate the help and suggestions. Thank you.
  8. Hello everyone, I am somewhat new to the home theater world so please pardon some of my ignorance. During recent sale at adorama, I bought a pair of RP-280f (mains), RP-450c (center). I also bought RP-160m as part of that bundle but they are too big for rear speakers so I am planning to sell those and get the rp series surround speakers at a later date (maybe next year). i (will be) using the speakers 60-70% of the time for music. Considering that, what receiver do you recommend for my speakers (Rp-280f, RP-450c). My living room is probably around 20 ft wide, 16 ft long (bot no wall at the back so if I add the kitchen, it is probably 26 ft long). I am hoping to spend around $900 for receiver. Let me know what you guys recommend. I looked at Denon AVR-X3300W which seemed like a good option from my limited knowledge. I don't plan to blow up the speakers so i thought I don't need to match the 150W of rp-280f. Or will I damage with a receiver that has 100-125W (at 8 ohms) per channel? Also I have been told that cables are a big deal so I need to get good quality cables. Do you have any recommendation for those (including any websites)? Dumb question but do I also need banana plugs? I really appreciate y'all taking time and replying to my questions. Thanks!!!!
  9. While I was looking at another web site, I noticed a cartoon boasting a large number of discs (in this case-phonograph records) numbering in the multiple thousands. This got me thinking. So while I was going through my own FLAC collection on external HD, I did a quick look at the "play counter" for the tracks by sorting on that column within foobar2000. Over the past 3 years since I ripped my entire digital disc collection to flac (not including Blu-Ray and SACDs), I counted about 1000 albums that I listened to over that 3-year period of time. This I found to be interesting since I basically am listening to these albums all day long, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. I really don't listen to vinyl records at all: if I do listen to one, I usually buy the CD used (if available) and demaster it. How many different albums do you listen to over a year? (This isn't the number of albums that you own--but rather only the number that you listen to in the course of a year.)
  10. I believe this was Super Deans thread. Couldnt find it. Anyhow who still indulges in music or even tv, movies, the bug you hid in your neighbors living room in 2 channel? Or just me, yeah i thought so...

(he ran sound for a show where I was in a group that played all of Led Zeppelin IV front-to-back) John Bonham's (Led Zeppelin) 1973 kit at exhibit at Rhythm Discovery Center (Indy) opens today. source: https://twitter.com/FrankEspich/status/400690477541756928/photo/1
