BS Button
I have a real good pair that needs one end converted to Banana's professionally, with the heat shrink and new pants NEVERMIND< They are Audioquest, ever so faintly silk screened on the cable (13 years old)
Bill H.
May sound silly, but if you know the Company name.............just contact them and see if they could convert them................. Sounds painful though........................[:$]
BS Button
I think the name/s have worn off. They are about 15 years old.
Guest " "
I use gold plated adapters that costs between $4 - $8 bucks. I have a lot of standard terminated cables intended for screw mount but in recent years have also rely'd on banna plug connections. These adaptes work for termial ends or pin ends. colterphoto1
I do too know which end of the soldering iron to hold. If you need some work done you could send them up here. Reasonable rates. Rebuilding this XLR panel was some 192 solder joints. Each terminal fully tested before it left here.
BS Button
I might do that. Can you make 'em look like they came from the factory? BS
colterphoto1
which factory? if you have pics of what their finished product looks like we can shop PE for a similar end or whatever you want put on there. Actually it's very simple as usually you do NOT want to solder/tin the ends of the wire if they are going into a mechanical fastener like banana plugs or Neutrik. But I can do the heat shrink or whatever you want done. Ok, checked their web site and while we're not going to have the metal crimp on sleevy thing where the wire splits, making a neat tail leading to the dual single banana plugs or dual banana isn't too tough. Got a photo of what you're looking for? M
colterphoto1
something like this maybe? It won't be a molded yoke over both speaker wires but I would use heat shrink tubing there, color of your choice. We could split the wires for single plugs like this or if it's for the back of receiver with standard spacing, I prefer to use the single connector with dual plugs. http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=181-
PrestonTom
Michael. Michael, Michael, ..... You really need to quadruple your price, put the cables in the freezer for a day and then sell the mod as "cryogenically treated audiophile cables" Get with the program dude, -Tom

BEC
No cables, but I have been freezing a lot of inductors lately. Bob
Blvdre
No cables, but I have been freezing a lot of inductors lately. Bob Now you're just teasin' us with those blue bunnies.
PrestonTom
I guess it was only a matter of time before BEC got aboard the "boutique" audio bandwagon. BTW, cryogenically treating those ice cream sandwiches is a great idea. They are such a mess to eat otherwise.
