rll
He played for Billy Tubbs at OU. Unstopable in college. And always seemed to be smiling as he killed you.
J.4knee
Excellent bass player released several good albums was a lot of fun to see in concert. Sadder still is he was a scheduled performer in the SD Gaslamp Quarter Smooth Jazz Fest next weekend.
JL Sargent
Enjoyed Wayman as a college and pro BB player the most. Listened to some of his music too. I know he left a wife and 4 kids behind. Really came across as a quality standup guy.
winchester21
What a shame. Really nice stand up guy. Really hated to hear this.

Tom Adams
You have GOT to be kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sheesh......what a loss.[] I have 3 of his CD's. Oddly, when I first heard his music, I just couldn't place the name but knew it was familiar. It wasn't until I went to his website that I made the connection to him playing in the NBA. Yeah - he seemed like a very genuine & grounded guy and the kind of pro athelete kids should look up to. He was on my list of folks I'd like to see in concert just as Grover Washington was. Thanks for (sad) news. Tom
J.4knee
Looks like they gave him a well deserved send off. http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/30874690/
winchester21
That really a sad story. All the guys at the office were talking what a great person he was. It seems like this kind of thing allways happens to the good guys. He will be missed.
