Best MP3 CD Player

I have an Encino Voyager and it works pretty well. The anti-skip for mp3 cds is really good (60 second) but normal audio cds isn't great (5 seconds). That doesn't really bother me though since I'm using mp3 cds 90% of the time. They sell for around $200 Canadian which is a pretty good deal.

The reason i ask is because i really like music and away from my klipsch's i have no way to listen to my mp3's and burning them to CDA files to play in my cd player is to expensive. I read from Yahoo! magazine that pineusa.com has the best but also heard that this other one, the Sonicblue Rio Volt (MP3/CD Player) was really the best. it is $169. it has a 2 minute MP3/WMA ESP system and a 40 second CDA format ESP. Is there a Minidisc MP3 player? that way you could put the same amount of music on it and it would be a smaller player... i do not mind if one of those costs like $300 because i have a Sony computer taht has special software for minidiscs and those sony memory cards... the other reason that i want to get a CD MP3 player is because the CD's are like 30 cents and the memory cards are like 90 bucks... way way way too expensive. thanks again... ooh! i am upgrading my v.2-400's to the 4.1's for only $50 cause i bought them at Tweeter Home Intertainment... i bought them from teh store but online they may have the same 356.1-1 policy where if in a year they are upgraded you get a free upgrade. i can not wait to get the new ones even though i have never had scratchy noises or hissing... guess i am lucky, that or i have the new pre amp.... i got these like january 20th. see ya later ppl! and thatnks for your help... hope it keeps coming! LoL!!!

Value for money wise, I think you can't beat the Riovolt. A friend of mine bought one and I was quite impressed with it, although it is a little bulky compared to my discman, but from my understanding that is to be expected with mp3 cd players. Most of the other mp3 cd players that are cheaper than the Riovolt lack a good LCD display, and that is a feature that I would assume one would want. Anyway, just research the facts for yourself on the web and base your decision on that.

I almost amde a rally bad mistake~! I was looking at these players and i saw the A-MAX Technology Napa DAV310 MP3/VCD player... looks really cool, plays cd, mp3 cds, video cds (!) has a wireless remote (!) and a lithium battery. i was ready to hit the check out button but decided to check out what other users said about it.... Whew~! 100% of the ppl who bought it said that they would not recogmend it because it sucked majorly. well i am glad i took the research reviews advice before i bought it! still looking... do you think that there will soon be a Mini-Disc mp3 player??? i think that with firewire this could be teh premo best MP3 player cause it would be small, would not skip, and could transfer at like 400msp. well if you find anything let me know. i really and looking for one that holds allot of music, and would like it to have a radio too if possible. right now the pine technology one seems the best.... not sure though! ahhh!

Well, i have come to the conclusion that i do not need an MP3 cd player cuase since i am getting a new cd radio in my car and it has a line in that i could do a lot better getting a portable jukebox like the Creative Nomad Jukebox. But... is this one the best? I really kinda like the Archos Jukebox... They have the same memory size, 6gb, and both support ID3 Tags and are small, the Archos is smaller and holds files other than audio. The navigation is supposed to be kinda hard with the Archos but i do not know anything about the creative player. does anyone at klipsch know anything?

It looks like you have to decide between 4ch or stereo outputs(Nomad or the rest)

If all your car has is stereo then the pjb and the archos stereo will be all you need.

But, if you had a dts 5.1 surround system like ubid has been flushing for a couple of months, then you would be able to use the 4ch out of the Nomad Jukebox.

That's if you want 5.1 surround sound in your car? And then just take it in and plug into your Klipch for surround?
