tidmack
Hi All, I'm parting out a pair of Heresys and realized last night that the K55's in them are the solder terminal, dual phase plug style. My understanding is that this version doesn't highlight a glitch found when installed with some smoother sloped netoworks like the A and AA. But, when used with steeper-sloped networks, the glitch isn't noticed. Is this the only difference between the two style K55-V's? Is the diffrernce noticeable enough to justify keeping a spare set around? Sometime this winter, I'll have some time to swap drivers and listen for myself, but I thought I'd hear some other opinions too. jeff
WMcD
I would keep them. I don't see that the glitch is not present -- it just moved a little. See attached .pdf. Wm McD K55VOneandTwoPiecePhasePlug.pdf

tidmack
I lent my copy of Dope to a friend several years ago and it was never returned. The pdf file reminded me of why I enjoyed reading PWK's articles so much... Thanks for the input/info! Jeff
