Terminator Salvation

I am posting this section even though there has been discussion in the Movie section of the Forum. I have been tinkering with mostly 2 channel stuff lately so I have not had many chances to give my recently modded HT setup much time. The selection on TW cable is horrible and opportunities are limited. Blue ray stuff is always rented out at Blockbuster

Today we did a PPV from TW in demand - Terminator Salvation. Typically TW feed is marginal at best. This PPV was a total surprise. The video feed was excellent. The audio through the Heritage stuff was phenominal. This one will give your system a real work out and may reveal areas for your next upgrade. I highly reccomend this DVD. It is IMHO near the quality of the Transformer for a show off your stuff test DVD. I am confident that the DVDs particulary Blue ray would be even better. I plan to buy this one in BR.

Thanks for the review! I'll check it out, I'm always looking for new demo stuff to show my friends how much better my system is than theirs[6]!

As far as crappy Blockbuster selection goes... Go Netflix and never look back! I pay $11/month for 2 BD's at a time, unlimited. I'm about to watch The Hurt Locker, in a couple hours I'll toss it in the mailbox and I have T:Salvation in my mailbox by Wednesday!

That's the first blue ray I watched after getting the LaScala from you. There's a scene where a helicopter moves slowly from left to right and it was then that I knew what I had been missing all these years. Seamless from left channel to center channel to right channel.I thought I had it when I had 3 KLF 30's across the front but even that wasn't perfect. That is a great demo movie and will work the crap out of your sub(s) as well.

Did you score on that local RSW-15?
