wuzzzer
I heard some talk on the Emotiva forum about that line. Interesting that they're soliciting for dealers to carry it. I wonder what going away from internet-direct only will do for Emotiva?
RockOn4Klipsch
They probably want higher profit margins, we'll see what happens to their quality.
Guest davidness
Interesting that they're soliciting for dealers to carry it. I agree. Traditional retail isn't something that, to me, represents growth. I suspect that the 'direct only' model didn't allow them to reach high-end installers, so this might be a way to reach that group. Yes, I don't think the new Emotiva pro line will be directed toward retail, I believe it will be directed toward the custom installer market. HarryO
I had the opportunity to hear some of Emo's newer amps and Preamps. All I can say is WoW! Excellent drive, clarity, and POWER!

Rich_Guy
For some reason the link takes me to powered monitors. I don't see any amps there. The Emotiva pro line is pretty new. They have announced planned amps but the powered monitors are the first and so far only product Emotiva Pro has released. Also the XPR series of amps I listed above is supposed to be the next line of Emotiva amps, these should be Emotiva not Emotiva Pro. However Emotiva has already announced that they are putting off the XPR-7 and may not build the 7 channel version as Emotiva has not had as much sales with their 7 channel amps as they have had with their others. CECAA850
I'd love to see them make a big watt pro-style amp like a QSC to see what they could do price/performance wise. They'd be hard pressed to better the new offerings from Peavey.
