oscarsear
Bare Trees, an early Fleetwood Mac production (1972). What album was it on (if any) and why is it so stinking hard to find ANYWHERE?
PrestonTom
Oscar, we are dating ourselves. Wasn't Bare Trees also the name of the album? Or maybe my memory has deteriorated over the years?
MechMan
I don't think it's very rare up here in the great white north. I'll up a pic or two to help your search.
MechMan
Another with some album info...Hopefully large enough to read.
garymd
Not so rare on Ebay either. Looks like you can get a decent copy for about $5-$10: http://music.shop.ebay.com/Records-/306/i.html?_nkw=bare+trees&_catref=1&_fln=1&_trksid=p3286.c0.m282 I have most of the early FM LPs. Unfortunately, they all sound pretty bad. I love their early stuff but the recordings are pretty awful.
Groomlakearea51
I agree with Gary; had most of them, but sold them a couple years ago and bought a couple of good quality CD's that had most of the tracks I liked. My favorite FM is the early stuff with Peter Green (e.g. Oh Well...) Amazon has a new (well NOS anyways) Bare Trees CD for only $8; http://www.amazon.com/Bare-Trees-Fleetwood-Mac/dp/B000002KD3/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1289566768&sr=8-
oscarsear
I heard this yesterday and went to download it on Itunes. They do not have it as a single nor do they even show it as an album. I found but a single rendition on utube. But with is info I just bought the thing on ebay for under $10, new. Some of these older classics are like pulling hens teeth to find and I do not understand it. Thnx for the help. I know I can always rely on the Forum for direction. RichardP
I just bought that CD a few months ago from Amazon. If you are wanting the vinyl lp, I don't know.
