ssh
S/N 1127 & 1128, Type U Both need woofers, and I don't know what else. No Pics. To be auctioned at the Pilgrimage, w/ all $ going to Make A Wish Foundation. We are moving to a new high school building, and they have been in the choir room storage room for decades. The choir director, Greg Oden, gave them to me, & I'm/we're donating them to Klipsch's charity effort. Klipsch will make a matching donation for all funds collected, so your money is doubly well spent. SSH

ssh
The guys at Klipsch are going to try to get them running on all cylinders before they are auctioned. That's more difficult since I'm not opening the cabinets. Sorry, but I ain't goin' there. It's the last day of school today, I'm also the district energy manager & have to check every room in the district over the next few days, I have in-service all day Friday, and Monday I start teaching summer school. I will be in Hope next Thursday afternoon after summer school, and will go straight to the plant with them then. I may have to bid on these, myself No Pics...You'll have to see them at the Pilgrimage. SSH
LoudnClear
Running on all cylinders is a big deal when it comes to the bidding! Can't wait to hear these guys sing before the auctioneer is turned loose on them!

LarryC
They sound very good if not great Steve, what are the woofers and other drivers?
Steve Phillips
Had K-33-P woofers ( cones were gone), replaced with E's K-55-V mid on K-1000 horn K-77 Alnico, has the chrome horn lens Type K-1000-5000
LarryC
Thanks. Were the tweets and mid drivers gone and did you replace? Would these originally have had SAHFs and T-35s?
ssh
The shorthorns brought $700. That's $1400 for the Make A Wish charity. Thanks to the guys at Klipsch for making my small donation a big one. SSH

Steve Phillips
Thanks. Were the tweets and mid drivers gone and did you replace? Would these originally have had SAHFs and T-35s? Built in 63, I did not do a thing to the K-77's or the K-55-V's, all were fine and original
Moderators dtel Posted June 13, 2011 Moderators Share Posted June 13, 2011 That was a really nice thing to do SSH, and Klipsch for matching the bid, and of course for the final bid also, it's going to a good cause. [Y]
