Here's a look at what makes that possible. Check out the size of the magnet. It's almost as large as the 10" woofer itself! I was pretty amazed at seeing how large and heavy the speakers were and thought I would share some photos of it in all it's splendor. Klipsch has me beta testing it in my theater room as we speak. It has a 6 way crossover, has a frequency response of 3Hz - 21kHz, is Tri-Ampable, can handle 500 watts RMS/ 2000 Peak and weighs 140lbs. The agreement I've worked out with Klipsch is that I get to keep them as payment for the beta testing in a live environment. I believe I've lost most of the hearing in my left ear though.
