QSC PLX 2502

Actually, I have a few brands of RCA to XLR adaptors, all UNWIRED, so pin 1 & 3 are disconnected form one another and the XLR just uses 1 & 2. However, I found they are all not the same. Some are pretty cheap. I ended up being happiest with Neutrik. They are about $9.00 / each.

Of course this is only to connect my McIntosh home audio amps which are vintage (MC-250 & MC 2100) and have no XLRs to the processor outputs which is all balanced XLRs. The rest of my system is balanced and uses the standard WIRED XLRs with Pins 1&3 tied together.

I also use QSC PLX 2 1104 & 1804 amps for my bass cabinets and subs and I agree they are quiet and clean and provide tight powerful bass. I've been happy with them. However, I wasn't happy with them on the HF sections and that explains using the vintage Mac rebuilds that I use. They are more detailed in the mids and highs and I had Terry DeWick rebuild a few for me and I've been happy with that setup.
