juniper8
Looking through craigslist I found a Pilot console for 450.00 it has what appears to be a fairly rare sa-260 amp, sp 210 preamp, tuner, and phonograph and is in mint condition cosmetically. The amp iron is very impressive looking to say the least. Also It is so ugly I wont feel bad taking it apart. The previous owner says it works fine!! I cant wait to hear it!!!! juniper8
I don't believe you without proof. Don't have any proof yet but here are the pictures. Counting up the tubes and comparing the amp to ones on the net the configurations are the same.

tube fanatic
Looks like two of the 6CA7s have lost their vacuum. Replace those before powering up!

I think I will have a tube tech rework the pre and amp before I turn it on! Definitely a good idea. Lots of capacitors need to be replaced before you put it into regular use. It's a great amp, with lots of power, so I'm sure you will enjoy it tremendously! Post or email if you need any info or advice........ I know very little about tube amps, awhile back I read about the sp 210 and how good it may be, and then found this console with a 210, as far as the power amp there is very info on the sa-260.
