Got my second cherry svs PB-13 Ultra the other day, now I just need to get my wall mount for tv and get a smaller stand for some components. Those of you that mounted your tv on the wall what did you do about the power and HDMI? Got any pictures? Did you run it through the wall or cover it some how or just let it hang? Give me some ideas??

Im in the same boat as you. I need an audio rack bad. I'm gonna try and sell mine for cheap and set my subs in the center next to each other. Put my 64 on top of them for now and then set my gear off to the right on a platform for now until I move in a few months. If I can I would like a nice audio rack but if my stuff is in an enclosed vented room I will just buy something cheap like some garage shelves. And I bought my tv mount from amazon. It's a cheetah one. Make sure you check how big your holes are on the tv. I bought one that supported my weight but the kuros have a large pattern so I had to buy a much larger one almost double the price and I hung the first one so there are a ton of holes now lol oh well. Shitty military housing.

I used a kit that is paintable to run my wires. Im painting

the whole room soon so I didn’t paint it yet so it kind of still sticks out at

the moment. (link below)

Also when you mount your tv keep in mind down the road. Get

one that will work with a bigger heavier tv so if you get a bigger one you all

set.

Nice duals!!!!!!!!!!! Thats how I want mine set up, but in need to find a smaller cabinet to put some electronics in the middle of my subs and below the tv. Here it the mount I am looking at. I need a bigger tv than 55 or 60 inch but there is little leds to choose from that you dont need a bank loan for. LOL! Anybody have the sharp 70 inch led? I know sharp is not the quality that my samsung is but the price is better. Samsung is coming out with a 65 inch led this year if you got 5,000!!!! OUCH!!

LEDs are nice and efficient and they don't heat up but I personally cannot stand the 120,240hz. It is so terrible looking to me. Watch one next to a nice 600hz plasma. You will see a huge difference. I will own an led anywhere in my house except in my theater where the picture has to be perfect. And wherever the ps3 goes for gaming as well.

Also looking for size 70-80 inch. the plasma's i see always seem too dark and not very vivid in there colors. I dont think screen burn in is an issue anymore with plasma's? Not sure about the life expectancy of a plasma vs led?

Here is my opinion on anything bigger than a 55 inch tv. New 70" led cost what, 3-4 thousand dollars, unless you get a killer deal or buy a crappy one. Both happen all the time. But if you wanted something that big why not actually start looking into projectors. You cam get a killer deal on projectors and screens for around 3000. And if you wanted only an 80 inch. Buy an 80 inch and scoot the projector closer. Image will be much sharper and way brighter that close. Just my two cents on big tv's.

OT: ^^^without starting a long plasma vs LED debate, why do you prefer LED?

I think you started something!!!!!!!!!!!

Ha ha, my bad. I knew I shouldn't have said anything =^P

I personally prefer plasma because it just looks more natural to me. I have more to say on the subject, but I won't since this isn't the thread for it. People prefer what they prefer =^)

No projector for me. All my stuff is not in a dedicated theater room, its in the family room, so its got to be a tv the wife would freak out!!! Remember I just pulled off dual PB-13 Ultra's!! with the wife, She wont go for a screen in here too. Maybe if I do a theater room I could do that.

Maybe we should start a thread on the hot topic of LED vs Plasma vs LCD vs DLP

Well sounds like you got your next project planned. Plus if I had as much stuff as you (which I believe we have jut about all the same) in my living room my wife would freak out. Lol
