Moderators Youthman Posted May 12, 2012 Moderators Share Posted May 12, 2012 Very nice looking room. Great style and classy. RF-7ii's look great naked too. How does the RC-62 sound with them? Ever thought about the RC-64?
allgonoshow
Thanx, The rc62 is fine for me, fits the stand as well. I just upgraded from the older rc62 today, to have all the same technology. The house also has a currently unused HT room which I will need to save some loot for.
tmassey
Grats on the new house and nice setup! Also, thats pretty awesome your house had a HT. What you going to put in there if your RF-7ii's are out there?
Scrappydue
Do you know that the rc-62 and the rc-64 have waaaay different tweeters??
allgonoshow
I haven't figured out what to do in the HT room yet. It is prewired for inwalls. I may just do an inwall setup without big speakers, for movies only. The room in the pic will have a pool table on the other end and be used alot. It is large as well, 20x37 and needs some speakers with some presence. There is a great room upstairs that has a mix and match of older stuff, with Paradiym Monitor 7 v4 for mains which I really like.

Exellent setup! What better reason to buy a house!!!! I listened to my first hd movie[Haywire] with the new center channel last night and was pleasantly surprised with the improvement in audio by matching the speakers,[ now all series ii]. Way more sound stage from the center channel. I like it.

ivanhurd
You must have a big ol house if your living room is that large =^P Looks like a really nice setup! Do you plan on wall mounting that TV?
allgonoshow
I am going to take the stand out from under and put the Tv on the ledge with a tether. I need to tidy up the wires too. The room in the pic is the basement, nice greatroom upstairs plus the Ht room, which is also in the basement
allgonoshow
ht room, wired for 7.2 and projector
Scrappydue
When you say wired for in walls, do you mean wires are all ran in the wall with a small piece hanging out? Or are there already holes cut for speakers? Cause pre wired does not limit you to in walls. You can cut a small rectangle out for the in wall speaker terminals and put whatever speakers you wanted in there. Then just buy some nice speaker cables from user nezff and the little that is out for others to see will be gorgeous wire! Also in my opinion I think you should consider giving the rc-64ii a shit. I know the rc-62 is the matching series, but the 1" tweeter in that is not timbre matched by any means to the 1.75" tweeter in your rf-7ii's. I think if you could afford it you would be much happier. If you haven't heard one it's worth a shot. My two cents. But killer room you got there. Looks big and gorgeous wood floors. My kind of style! Can't wait to get in my first house.
