Boxx
I just saw where his centerfielder made one heck of a running catch to keep it alive... outstanding feat....
DoubleJ
Couldn't have happened to a more deserving player. Matt Cain has been a victim for many years of no run support and he is a better pitcher then his record shows. There was also a very near 9-1 no hitter for R A Dickey (Mets). A questionable infield hit in the first inning cost him and a 9th inning error ( plus 2 pass balls due to R.A.'s knuckle ball) allowed a run to score in the 9th, which ended a 33+inning non-scoring steak. JJ You mean R.A. Dickey of my NY Mets I believe...lol... I didn't see the game, but I saw that on the internet last night... Since Johan Santana's no-no had somewhat of a gift call, I guess it all evens out in the long run...
DoubleJ
opps. You are correct sir. Should have caught for I wouldn't have a Dodger on my Fantasy Baseball league but I do have R.A. on my team. [] I also made a correction that his 33+inning non scoring streak ended. JJ
