Geez...can't you find something NEW for Chrissakes?? HAHAHAHAHA!

HDBRbuilder
Dee...who, ME??? All I did about a decade ago is tell Justin that an inexpensive old HK receiver and some good used Heresys would fit his budget for a room stereo system...when everybody else was ignoring his BUDGET and trying to get him to blow a wad of cash on what they liked! Go figure, huh? LOL! I wonder if Justin still has that set-up?
Dr Morbius
When I saw the original post, it said "Vintage" HK receiver from the early 70's. I thought vintage meant it had tubes. So if I had a Scott tube amp from the early 60's, would that be considered "Classic"? I know it wouldn't be called antique because I consider antique like 1920's and 30's stuff. But then what do you call 40's and 50's stuff?
HDBRbuilder
All "vintage" means is that it is old, but NOT old enough to be vinegar, yet! HK is actually credited with the invention of the receiver back in the pre-solid-state era.

Moderators Youthman Posted October 21, 2012 Author Moderators Share Posted October 21, 2012 At my age, just about anything can qualify as "vintage". Heck...I'm getting close to being called that myself. []
