cnguyen
I have a pair of CW II and have been trying to get grille to stay on the speakers with little success. I have changed the velcro straps they will stay on for couple days and then peeled off. CW owners have you used the magnets to keep the grille on? Please share your experience. Thanks in advance. juniper8
Use industrial velcro brand TM. It is very stong stuff..... Make sure it says industrial and it is made by velcro.... Good luck!!!
Exponential
The Cornwall III speaker grills now use neodymium magnets at six locations on the grill frame, with steel inserts in the from of the box. This works very well. This link shows some options: http://www.kjmagnetics.com/products.asp?cat=
Mighty Favog
I use industrial Velcro and staple the pads with 1/4" staples and a pneumatic stapler onto wherever I want them to be. My house is not air-conditioned and it gets into the 90's around here easlily. Still take it slow when I pull the grills off. I think the CW III's use magnets. http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?partnumber=329-

Schu
staples... or similar... are definitely the key here.
JJkizak
If you like to fool around you can try and duplicate the rubber jobs that Klipsch uses on the newer smaller speakers which hold the grill and cloth about 1/2" away from the motorboard.
