Moderators Youthman Posted November 23, 2012 Moderators Share Posted November 23, 2012 Good luck with your search Orange. Derrick, I believe you have a typo in your signature "Epik Lengend Sub". []

willland
Maple? Yes maple. Local(to me) forum brother Kimba(rennoc442) has a maple RSW-15 and is actively seeking a grill for it. Bill
oscarsear
I use an RSW 15 for my stereo. As you'd expect how much to drive the bass does vary with the caliber and nature of the music. I wish the unit had a remote control. Other than that the performance is outstanding. The massive bulk of the beast is most impressive in the listening room. derrickdj1
Derrick, I believe you have a typo in your signature "Epik Lengend Sub". You are correct Youthman. The old eyes are not what they use to be[]. Maybe I should try some glasses[8-|].
sivadselim
Maple? Yes maple. Well, good luck, Orange Peel. Might be slightly easier to find one than winning the lottery. [:S]
Moderators Youthman Posted November 23, 2012 Moderators Share Posted November 23, 2012 want to see what people think about the RSW line. I just posted some pics of mine here. I'll be comparing the RSW-15 to an Velodyne HGS15 hopefully tomorrow.
Coleman
Heres a RSW-15 for sale on craigs list. Looks like cherry or maple? http://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/ele/3430117203.html
Moderators Youthman Posted November 24, 2012 Moderators Share Posted November 24, 2012 Looks like cherry or maple? That one is definitely Cherry (he even says it in the first line of his ad "Klipsch RSW-15 Subwoofer cherry wood veneer!". Here is what the maple looks like...it's much lighter than the Cherry finish. I believe he is way off on his price though especially with the large scratches. For $1600, I would probably buy a new sub. It must have gotten moved around a lot to get scuffs like that and only had been used "a dozen times at most". tmassey
That price is way high. I thought I seen one for 900 around here a few months back
Moderators Youthman Posted November 24, 2012 Moderators Share Posted November 24, 2012 Agreed, they can always be found for under $1000.
rennoc442
Maple? Yes maple. Local(to me) forum brother Kimba(rennoc442) has a maple RSW-15 and is actively seeking a grill for it. Bill Its actually blonde ash, very light in color and to me is not as beautiful as Youths (you are holding out on me Mike!) RSW! I have been meaning to get over to Jeff's place to have him help me re-veneer it to match my Mahogany KLF-30's, never enough time.
