CECAA850
Well It should be here tomorow, I can't wait. I have a few 12 foot RCA cords and some female to female adapters I will use for starters. What do you guy's think, will I be able to test accuratley enough? A really good cord could be as much as $75 or $100 and the sub could be anywhere from 6 feet to 40 feet ( 10ft front 15ft side 17ft rear). I want to buy the right length the first time. I have never had a home theater sub so i dont really where it will sound best. tomorrow cant get here quick enough, Alain The sub cords aren't going to make an appreciable difference one way or the other. Figure out what length you need and order one from monoprice.com.

Moderators Youthman Posted March 7, 2013 Moderators Share Posted March 7, 2013 Yep, I'm using those very same interconnects to connect my amp to the HK. Nice quality cables.
Scrappydue
Any updates? I can't imagine having no sub straight to a svs. It's gonna change you!
Alain C
Hi, How do I post a picture? I see the icon with the tree on it, I click on it up comes a box with options and it will not let me cut and paste a picture. I go to help up at the top where you sign in and it sends me to this page that has nothing to do with klipsch. I don't understand. do i need to compose all of this in notepad or word and cut and paste the whole thing? Very confused, Alain

Moderators Youthman Posted March 9, 2013 Moderators Share Posted March 9, 2013 Unfortunately, that's the worst issue with this forum....it's kinda hidden. You figured out how to "attach" a photo to your post. The Insert/Edit Image is used when you have your images hosted somewhere on a server (ImageShack, Flickr, Photobucket). With that method, you just have to resize the images to around 700 pixels wide or less or the image will get cropped off. Congrats on the new SVS purchase. Let us know what you think after you get it setup.
Alain C
I did it. As you can see I sent the sub to my work. Everybody at work including me said "Its so big" so when I took the picture I wanted to give it some scale so I left the the pallete jack under the skid. Yes it came on a skid. I got it home, hooked it up ran audissey then called Ed at SVS and he went through the set-up with me. I'm glad he was there to help. Having never set one of these up, there were lots of presets in the marantz I never touched before. It sounded very good.not quite as "in your face" as i was hopeing for, but I think thats why most of you guy's have 2 subs. But what it did was make the klf 20 sound so clean. we set the crossover at 40 and then the sub takes over. It goes a lot lower than the klf20's. Im very happy. I played the end of the bluray Skyfall at 0db. The sceen where the old orphange blows up and wow, It sounded like the theater. it was so dynamic, my nieghbor came over to see if something had happend. so I replayed for him.He was blown away. I could not be any happer. Now i need to replay everything so I can rediscover all the cool low stuff that i have been missing. Thanx for monoprice I will get my cables from them. I will also get cables for my DVD audio player. Ill bet some of those discs sound real good too "so much to listen to, and so little time". I think this is where i will keep sub. in time i will move it around to see if it sounds better or different in other places, but I think this is the spot. here is the Pic
derrickdj1
That's one good looking sub!
joshjp
Congrats on the sub, if i were you, i would do the SUB CRAWL, meaning that you put the sub were you normally sit, play a song with i nice bass note, and crawl around the room, until you find a nice spot, witch, sounds bold, but not boomy, hope this helps. joshjp
If you still find that the sub is not to your liking, i would personally get the PSA-XV15, both should be fantastic, but i believe the PSA should have more output across the board.
