Marvel
As for optimal positioning ( 4 feet off the wall ) i think they would be almost next to the listener in the front row. I don't mean 4 feet out from the wall, but with them tucked tightly into the corners, you are supposed to have clear wall space, as the wall is an extension of the horn. There, I feel better now... garyrc
Silly me, I forgot the khorn uses the corner of the wall as an extension of itself. Well, aesthetically speaking they look out of place at the moment. You could still corner them in the closet space and i bet they would look much better there.. As for optimal positioning ( 4 feet off the wall ) i think they would be almost next to the listener in the front row. I just wonder how much of a difference there would be when the speakers are already that super close to the listener. Charlie I don't get that.[] In most rooms, Khorns tucked into the corners (as they must be, unless you build some moveable artificial corners) are as far from the listeners as possible. Mongo171
Khorns must be in a corner, optimally with 4 feet off clear wall space on each side. I think he meant to say "4 feet OF wall space."
Charlie Hustle
Thanks for the clarification on the proper placement of them .... i still think its a viable option to redo the closet space but i guess i am in the minority. I think it would beneficial for the listener too because you would have more space between you and the speaker. Anyways, different strokes fro different folks. I am sure it still sounds tremendous down there and if Budman is happy, thats all that matters. Enjoy the horns.... hope one day I can say I have a pair of k-horns in the home Charlie
