Moderators dtel Posted November 1, 2013 Moderators Posted November 1, 2013 What is the easiest way to get a URL for a pic on my computer or hard drive ? Quote
Chad Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 To get a URL for a pic, you need to put it online somewhere. There are sites like Flickr.com, photobucket, and others that let you do this for free. 1 Quote

If you are trying to post a picture here in our forums, you can attach images to your post (which uploads them from your computer and adds them to the post) 1 Quote

Rich_Guy Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Go to the bottom below the typing area and use Attach Files. There are 3 steps. First use Browse to select your file, then use Attach This File and last you will see an option to Add to Post. I added this picture this way Quote
mustang guy Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 The cool thing about this is you can attach multiple files now. I really like that. Quote
CECAA850 Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 So you can't just put a url in the image box? When I tried, I got the error message : You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community. Quote

CECAA850 Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 I think I know what I did wrong. When I went to the image, I copied and pasted the url from the properties of the pic. Instead, I should have clicked the image and gotten the url from that image instead. Sorry. Quote
