Consumer alert. Now that the heat of summer is here, make sure you keep your Duct Tape mounted speakers cooled. The extra heat does tend to make the sticky stuff of the tape quite messy. Happy 4th of July!c>s>

Correct phrase is:

"When the going gets tough, the tough USE duct tape." I know, it's on the sweatshirt I gave my brotherinlaw for Christmas.

Actually, come to think of it, most correct phrase is probably:

"When the going gets tough, the tough use Hofy® brand polyethylene coated cloth, clean release, duct sealing, general application, aggressive adhesion-backed tape meeting UL 723 specification."

Just thought you'd like to know...

Actually if you dont have any Duct Tape then you would have to GET it. I took the saying from a sticker. So both sayings are correct.

You never did tell me how to get the duct tape off the walls so I could take down my La Scalas to install Al's crossovers in them. As I was left to my own devices, I heated the tape with my wife's hair blower and yep, it released. Un, uh, fortunately the right speaker landed on one of our cats. I felt really terrible about this, as I'd had to refinish the venier before Hofy-mounting the speakers, and now it's a bit scratched up again.

Ray, See my post on the warnings of the summer heat and Duct Tape. We are still working on a formula that resists heat. We need something that will hold up to the heat on the Space Shuttle. Can you just see a set of Pros Duct Taped to the Shuttle? biggrin.gif The sound heard round the world!

Unless you can figure out a way to fire a cat out of that folded horn, you need to cut a blow hole into those LaScalas so you can fire the cat out of them instead of squashing them.
